Checking in to the Baymont Motel in Rawlins, WY is done by entering the magical 24/7 Penny's Diner. What a lovely surprise. Here I was, caught in a blizzard in a town I'd never heard of and all of a sudden I am meeting a magical, happy diner crew that is delighted you chose their motel for the night. I love the brilliant idea of combining a motel with an all night diner. Instead of a weary night auditor, I was greeted by Tessie who not only checked me in but was also served me dinner. Tessie has extraordinary people skills and assured me that while there was a blizzard outside, it was going to be warm and loving inside. I got a wonderful night sleep in a large clean room and everyone, including the general manager, Jerry, bent over backward to make this a very pleasant stay. I will definitely continue to stay in this lovely, unique motel, when I'm traveling on I-80.🩷

The bathtub looked like someone washed there muddy boots in it. we didn't even shower or bath because it was so filthy. The restaurant was not even open even though they falsely advertised it to be open and looked like a rundown pos. Will never stay here again.

Would not stay again. Did not feel safe. No in hotel check in. You had to check in at the diner. No coffee in room. No formal entrance area.

"I had an excellent experience at this hotel. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The staff was friendly and attentive, always willing to assist with any requests. The location was perfect, close to major attractions and convenient for public transport. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals, and the breakfast buffet was a great start to the day. The hotel's facilities, including the gym and pool, were well-maintained and added to the overall experience. I highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, service, and location. I would definitely stay here again."
