Ramada Plaza Sheridan Hotel & Convention Center

The staff was friendly and helpful, the hot breakfast was nice, and the bed and room were comfortable. There’s wear and tear evident in the hotel, but our room was clean. Sadly, the walls are thin, and we were woken up at 1 am with our bed /wall shaking from the shouting and rough-housing of guests next door. A very rowdy bunch with doors slamming, etc! Other than that it was a pleasant stay. We would stay here again for a weekend trip.

Stayed for a basketball tournament. The hotel is large and there is room to spread out and walk around so you are not just stuck in your room. The beds were comfortable, hot water was great, water pressure was great, room was quite. Our room faced the parking lot and it was easy to remote start my vehicle in the morning. The hotel is in a convenient location by Walmart, Albertsons and a liquor store and close to Sheridan College. My first night there was a chirping fire alarm that had low battery in the next room that kept me up but that was fixed the next day. My son liked the hot tub and pool and walking around the hotel. The hotel needs an update. Carpet is dark and needs to be cleaned. I walked around in socks in my room which were dark and dirty at the end of each day. The Heating/AC units are ancient my room did not have a wall control but my sons room did. The bathrooms do not have fans and the bathrooms. The hotel has a restaurant and make great margaritas. We ordered chicken wings and they were fatty and gross the French dip that was served on a burger bun, not good and the fries were plain. There were good and bad, but for a basketball tournament location we would stay there again and the price was reasonable.

The state was very good overall. One problem we ran into was the sink stopper in the bathroom was broke. The breakfast definitely could have been a higher quality breakfast. Hampton Inn and other hotels have a much better breakfast. Please consider working on this. The beds were extremely comfortable. The room was clean and nice.

Was unsure what to expect as our Wyndham experiences had been horrible. We decided to give this one last try and we're very glad that we did. Room was great, HOT FRESH EXTENSIVE breakfast options. Would stay here again in future without hesitation.

This is a property that has changed hands within the last several months according to the front desk staff. It strikes me as having a tremendous amount of potential, and the new owners seem to appreciate that. This is currently a great value for the traveler who is looking for a budget conscious stay without compromising security or comfort. The first room I was given had a window full of dead and living box elder bugs, so I requested a new room and was quickly given one. The new room was dated, but the bed was clean and comfortable. Under the bed needed a good cleaning, and there were some minor things like peeling wall paper near the sink. Housekeeping and maintenance are things that I assume Wyndham will address over time. The front desk staffing was great, I interacted with different shift times, and they were all gracious, friendly, and helpful without exception. The breakfast buffet was very good for the room price point, and seems to be another indicator of the commitment of the new owners to the property. Right now a good value for the money. As Wyndham continues to upgrade the property, this may change.
