We stayed one night in a "regular" room. There was a front and a back sitting area, two beds, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, electric fireplace and a comfortable area for sitting at a table. The room was nice and clean and had a recycling can in addition to the regular trash cans. Staff, though busy at the restaurant (Rubbs) was friendly and efficient. We ate at the restaurant and the salad bar and steak fries were excellent. The beef tips were a little salty and the ribs didn't have enough sauce for my husband. All in all a really nice quiet place to stay.

I took my family here for a weekend at the Dells - it was nearly half the price of staying at a resort on the main drag which was a plus. However, the room smelled really musty and is our largest complaint. The second thing that bothered me was that the coffee pot and the coffee supplies were stored in the bathroom (vomit emoji here). How unsanitary is THAT?!?!? Needless to say, I didn't have my morning coffee. There is plenty of room in the main room to have the coffee items. Also, the hot water heater was behind a curtain in the bathroom and that area was full of spiders. We also received no information on the "free wifi".

Our group of eight friends were looking for Saturday night lodging and found this resort. I was cautiously optimistic as I read other reviews, but they couldn't be more off! We had a cabin that had two beds, huge tv, full size couch and kitchenette which more than meet our needs. It is a cabin in the woods, so expect a few bugs, leaves, and pine needles. The staff was exceptional. At check in, housekeeping staff, and even the gentleman who delivered wood for our bonfire were all hard working and friendly. There was a nice open grassy area with chairs that we hung out at and no bugs! Hummingbirds and butterflies were everywhere. My kids liked the pool although the weather did not cooperate. We look forward to coming back next year!

Turned on the shower - it broke Flushed the toilet - it broke Whent to use the extra lock the door - it was broken When I book a hotel in this category (which is very, very low) I don't expect much. My needs were few: â˘a place to shower â˘a place to go to the bathroom â˘clean place to sleep and they were not met. When these issues were discovered they were immediately brought to management's attention. He offered "Sometimes these things break." ....No. These things have been broken for some time and they were not fixed. He did send someone to look at the problems. He just shrugged it off and said "I'll add it to my list." I was shocked to see the tub/shower was brand new and clean. I wish the handle didn't break. We stayed in the summer on a Saturday night, so we were charged over $130 for one night. What a joke.

Rustic resort but clean and reasonably updated. Good value ($49) for king bed, microwave, fridge, satellite TV and good-sized bathroom with decent shower. My room was a bit damp at times but could be aired out quickly by opening the door. Very quiet at night and a bit spooky to be honest. There are two older dogs that hang out in front of the steak house that are a bit cranky and bark occasionally but not really vicious or mean. I just wouldn't recommend petting them. Otherwise, a good stay particularly for solo or couple. Not real exciting place for families as it is further away from attractions and a bit dull but not unpleasant. Wifi is excellent. Cleaning must be requested at office but it is actually kind of nice to be left alone and not woken up by cleaning staff. Would recommend for value customer.
