Lake Aire Motel

We were in The Dells for a ball tournament and looking to not spend a fortune on lodging. We eventually landed on Lake Aire due to their low price. The motel stay is an experience, it almost takes you back to another place in time. Our room was large and could accommodate six. It was outdated and the beds and pillows uncomfortable. We expected as much though due to the price. The location is central and within walking distance to just about everything. The front desk was friendly and prompt. While dated, the room was clean. There is a pool and a large yard full of pines on the property. I can’t say we’d come back, but I can say that if you are looking for a budget motel near everything, this place is worth a look.

I chose this motel because they take Cats, but appreciated for more then that. While it was a bit off the highway it was worth the effort. My room was clean, well maintained and very accommodating. The property is secluded and wooded giving it a bit of a rustic feel. There are several attractions close by within walking distance. Parson's Trading Post and gift shop are just off the lot and worthy of a little time. During Covid there is no breakfast or coffee but a 7/11 is right across the street. Anne in the office is a delightful hostess. Reasonable rate add to the experience but there is a pet fee.

Anna checked us in - she was gracious & funny. Our room was ready when we arrived. Few really nice things at Lake Aire...picnic tables and a small playground in a slice of woods on the property, kids loved the pool and the all of us enjoyed free Tommy Bartlett Show tickets. The waterparks and Robot world are within walking distance so we didn't have to pay for parking. Rooms and property were very clean. We'll definitely be back!

Very reasonable rates, friendly attentive staff, clean rooms & laundry facilities. Central location near all Dells attractions. Family owned & operated since 1990. Accepts all major credit/debit cards. Security deposit required.

We stayed at the hotel for the weekend and we went out on our last day, came back to eat outside and we were told they don't remember us, and told to leave. We stated that we've been here all weekend, but since it was kinda rude, we decided to leave. As we were leaving, one of the management called us "lazy Mexicans, or puertoriccans, whatever we are" to shorten it. It's very disrespectful, rude, and very racist.
