The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was incredibly clean along with the rest of the hotel (lobby, pool, common areas, etc.). Also the hotel is conveniently located to downtown, so walking distance (or short drive) to restaurants, stores and more. The perfect spot to stay when visiting Rhinelander!

It's a shame - besides Elizabeth the manager, every other employee was amazing. I stayed at the AmericInn with my mom and sisters while my grandpa was dying - my aunt and her family were staying in a separate room. My aunt's son is disabled and needed his meds to be refrigerated; their fridge broke down and my aunt went to the front desk to get it fixed. No big deal, just fix it please. Instead of resolving the situation, Elizabeth loudly told my aunt to calm down, lectured her, and gave numbers of other hotels to stay at. While my aunt's father was dying, while she was worried her 5-year-old son's meds were compromised. Then when my mom went to figure out what happened, Elizabeth lied about the encounter. And gave us the numbers of other hotels in the area. For context, my partner works at the front desk of a hotel next to a sports stadium and a music venue, and frequently deals with unhoused people. Hearing his stories, I am very sympathetic to bad customer encounters. This was not that. I will say this - Elizabeth has amazing employees. She should learn from them.

The best place to stay ever! We've been on vacation for a week stayed at a few different hotels and at 2 casinos. This is by far, the very best. It's clea, the rooms are spacious and the breakfast is wonderful. The rooms are nicely decorated with beautiful furniture and the parking is very convenient. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who's looking for a great place to stay!

Best hotel to stay at during the Hodag music festival . Always sold out but it’s worth getting on the waitlist. The hotel manager keeps the list and she really follows up.

Excellent check in. Quality room for the money. Bed was comfortable. Better than expected breakfast with terrific check out. Recommended as the best in Rhinelander.
