Residence Inn Milwaukee Downtown by Marriott

I booked a 1-bedroom suite for my son and me for a long weekend, and we were NOT disappointed! The room was HUGE, cavernous, almost with floor to very high ceiling windows with a gorgeous of view of Milwaukee downtown and the river. The room was clean, well-stocked with all the necessities. The best part was the location!! It was an easy walk to EVERYTHING downtown Milwaukee had to offer.. theatre district, Lake Michigan, Third Ward, The Public Market, you name it.. not to mention being ON the Riverwalk. Plus, the breakfast was good with a good variety of hot and cold items. The only thing that was a bit important was the downtown noise can be irritating on the weekend. Otherwise, I highly recommend this wonderful establishment.

Perfect downtown on the river location, clean and spacious rooms. Greatly appreciate the hospitality, especially front desk manager Myisha Perez who went above and beyond to help me. Over a decade of more nights in hotels than at home … I am way thankful for Bonvoy and the people who make it a great experience every time.

Excellent service! The staff was extremely accommodating and informative. They were happily able to accommodate our early check in request and answered numerous questions regarding parking and travel within the city. Breakfast was delicious with many options. We were there for an event so they extended the breakfast hours on both ends of the time allocated to allow for all guests to enjoy the free breakfast with our stay. The rooms and hotel common areas were extremely clean. Our room was very spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay already stocked upon our arrival. A friend we were traveling with assumed they had been upgraded because their room was so lovely; it was their standard room! I highly recommend this hotel.

We had a 2bedroom unit which was roomy but the unit was very tired especially the couch. None of us in our group of 4 would even sit on it. Very stained. Also, the lighting in the bathrooms was sad. You could hardly see yourself. The place could be nice but not without some much needed refurbishments.

The check in process was horrible due to Mariah having a major attitude and not being suitable for front desk duties. She was rude, disrespectful and clearly had better things to do than her job. It ruined the rest of my trip and therefore my weekend getaway. I recommend she be removed from a customer facing position and placed somewhere that tolerates people that cannot work with the public.
