We registered online, prepaid for a room for 4 adults. Mattresses Horrible(cheapppp), Room Clean, but wallpaper peeling. Only 2 sets of towels for 4 people. We have stayed out of necessity 3 times, pool is never working. NO POOL! Also, when I asked about a discount or pool options, was told local outdoor pool was only $3 per person and since I registered my card online, nothing they could do. There was no one to get additional towels, shampoo or conditioner (one small bottle for all 4). I think it was running itself. Also, doors to outside propped open with bricks until 8pm. No one at desk (had to call to have someone come to check in). ANNNND check out morning, no knock. Just entered the room. We were on our way out at 11:05 but 4 people in the room talking? Also, the WIFI, though free, never had enough bandwidth and kept dropping. We even had to put our own batteries in tv remote. NEVER AGAIN!

The bed was okay. The room was very standard, with dated carpet, very typical mattresses. I got a backache, but expect that when dealing with off chain hotels. I would have been perfectly satisfied with this place except for the price. Granted, it was Saturday night. But I paid $120 with no available discounts like AAA. That's more than the Radisson or Holiday Inn in Fond du Lac was charging. There were no rooms available in Fond du Lac so I had to say yes. But, for this price, I will not consider coming back. The staff were fine. The room was clean. Everything was okay, just okay. I got a room at the Microtel the next night for $68 and their beds are much better. I just felt like someone took advantage and I don't appreciate that. I travel to Fond du Lac at least once a month. I will not be using this location for any of those stays.

The hotel was alright. It was overpriced. Due to events in Milwaukee the price was much more than normal. The room appeared clean but smelled like mildew until I turned the air on very high. Our room had a whirlpool which was not functioning due to a leak so I suspicion that this was the cause. The bed was comfortable and the linen did smell like bleach. That is a clean smell to me. The advertised breakfast was truly nonexistent. My husband had one donut and we each had a cup of coffee because that was all available. The pool and hot tub were not working. Only saw staff when we checked in.

The check in was rough. They wrote down my credit card number even though I had my CC in hand. After that I decided to pay in cash for my pricey stay at this "luxury" hotel. My room had an odor of sewer gas. The light switch sparked every time I tried to turn it on. The ceiling in the bathroom was sagging from water damage. The toilet barely flushed. There were dirty towels in the bathroom. The sheets looked like they went through a windstorm before being put on the bed. The only comforter was a cheap linen cloth. The AC barely worked. Breakfast tasted like it was flash frozen before being put on the counter. The milk was sour. Cream cheese questionable. Jelly expired. Front desk staff was nowhere to be found. I was planning to stay for 3 nights...but I checked out immediately in the morning.

There were only 3 other cars in the parking lot the days we were here. The front desk is not staffed so you need to call a phone number in the lobby for an employee to check you in. Also the front doors are locked at night and in the morning so you can only gain entry and exit from the side door out to the parking lot. The room was clean with some updates. The bed was okay but could be better. The main light in our bathroom didn't work but we just used the heat light instead which was brighter. Wi-fi wasn't very reliable. The breakfast that is included isn't worth walking to the lobby for. The donuts were stale and there was no coffee ( I suppose you are to use the coffee maker in your room). Other than that there was juice and bananas. The location worked for the event we were going to but the price seems a bit high for what is offered or lack their of.
