Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield Hotel

The most annoying part of my hotel stay is that the room the thermostat are constrained to 68° up to 74°. I need a cold room to sleep well. This is the first time I think I have ever stayed in a hotel where I couldn’t set the thermostat to 64°. To my mind, this is a management decision to save money, at the expense of guest comfort. And as a result, even though I am a long time, Bonvoy member,I will not ever stay here again.

The hotel was older and had a good lounge. However that was the goods, the room smelt horrific. I complained once in the morning, after we figured out it was the bed they said they would have house keeping come up and change the sheets. The room still smelt they said they would send house keeping back. The room still smelt, the next morning I complained again, all they did was offer me a small amount of points which did not make up for 2 horrible nights sleep because the smell.

I read the reviews and after staying here for a week I can tell you that the hotel seems to have fixed any issues mentioned. Great staff (honestly the friendliest I’ve seen in a very long time) the place is spotless. I watched people constantly cleaning. My room was serviced everyday. The restaurant is open all day which is unusual anymore. The hotel has had a major renovation and probably new management as it seems like a totally different hotel than before. I travel about 40 weeks out of the year and when I’m in Milwaukee this will always be my go to hotel. Great job Sheraton.

Stayed on the 4th floor and it was great! Especially appreciated the hot shower! Way to many Marriots have lukewarm or even cool showers but this one was heavenly. Clean and spacious. Free parking. Drinks at the bar are pricey. I'll be back! !

Front desk very helpful and professional. Hotel was clean and always had a nice smell. Food (buffet) was good and reasonably priced. I will say our hotel room didn’t have enough towels so I had to call down and request but they corrected the issue and provided extra pillows as requested through their text service. The “Starbucks” menu had great choices but the worker did not have experience making speciality coffee, he was pleasant and at least tried his best. All in all, when we travel back I would rebook, great area!
