The next time I'm back in Sheboygan, this is the place I want to stay. First and foremost, I was staying with accumulated hotel points. Sometimes, this type of stay is greeted with a less-than-pleasant attitude from hotel staff. That was most certainly not the case here. The person who checked me in was as friendly and helpful as could be, as was the person who helped re-key my cards and later checkout the final morning. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and nicely updated, and the kids loved the pool. Breakfast was also good, and even included chocolate waffles as an option, as well as fresh fruit and eggs. We stayed at another hotel in Sheboygan as part of this same trip, one that actually receives a higher review score, but left that one less-than-happy with our experience. So glad we finished our trip here at the Sleep Inn. We will definitely be back.

I had a pup. They were very accommodating. The outside had plenty of spaces to walk the pup. The breakfast was decent. The front desk guy was very friendly. The room was clean. Did not use the pool area. Very close to Kohler state park which is beautiful!!

Easy check in, great room (newly remodeled, room 364). Pool area looks remodeled, with a cute lazy river style and decent sized hot tub. Typical hot breakfast with cheese omelet, biscuits and gravy, waffles, etc. We will definitely stay here again, looking forward to seeing the finished remodel.

This place is very unorganized we stayed a week for work they didnāt clean our room because they said they were short staffed. We needed clean towels they promised to leave them in our room while we were at work they never did they didnāt clean our room until the day before we were leaving and came to clean it doing the time I had to sleep before my shift. And we needed tissue they gave us a used half roll from another room. The hot tub had white stuff floating in it. There is mold on the bathroom ceiling on the 3rd floor. Dogs were barking all night keeping us up. Worst stay ever

The customer service from this hotel was terrible from start to finish. A couple of weeks before our stay (for a wedding), I called to see if they could change our room from two double beds to a king. They said yes, for an increase in price...from $204 to $445 (there was a big event near the hotel). I said no, we will keep the double at $204. But the week before my stay, I got a "looking forward to seeing you email" with the price listed as $445. I emailed and called the hotel, speaking to the manager, every day that week to get the price returned to what was quoted. He kept asking if I wanted to cancel my reservation, but I always said no, I want the price you confirmed (and then referred him to my confirmation email from when I made the reservation 6 months prior). Upon arrival, there was no one at the desk, only a phone that guests could use to get service. The phone only sounded a busy signal, so we had to look around to find someone to check us in. Our room had a toilet that didn't work. We tried to call the front desk from our room....same busy signal as in the lobby. So, we told someone at the desk when we left for the wedding at 4:00. When we returned at 10pm, no one had fixed the toilet. We used our cell phone to call the front desk (because there was still the busy signal) and that person said "The guy who does that stuff isn't here. He'll be back in a couple of hours." Morning comes, no help at all, so we are all forced to go to the lobby to use the public restroom. We complained to Choice Hotel, and they said they would give us $80 back. It took at least 10 more emails to Choice to get issued a check for $80 bucks. Will never choose a Choice Hotel again, and I strongly warn anyone about staying at the Sleep Inn on Motel Road in Sheboygan until the management gets a complete overhaul.
