TownePlace Suites Bridgeport Clarksburg

The staff was amazing & welcoming as soon as you get through the door! Rooms are perfect, & Jamie was so sweet!! Breakfast was good there was so many options to choose from. I will definitely be coming back for another visit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For a hotel that was renovated September 2024 ~ it was a disaster! Everything was beat up! We ended up getting a refund for our reservation because we couldn't stay here! We were in town for my husband to have surgery. We had a 2 bedroom suite reserved. We went to the room that was assigned and it smelled horrible. I went to the front desk to complain and was given a bottle of "febreeze" to spray in the room. There were no other 2 bedroom suites available. The hallway carpets and elevators were very dirty. There was no way we were going to be able to stay there for a week while he recovered! Fortunately I was able to secure an AirBnB for our stay. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for ANYONE!

Two couples stayed in two rooms as we were passing through. I have stayed next door at the Springhill several times and decided to try the Townplace for a change. The check in was fine. We needed to speak with the girl at the check in because a mobile key was not added to our app check in process. The room was satisfactory, but not as nice or modern as the Springhill. The bathroom was quite small and one of the three lights was not properly working over the mirror. The quality of towels was cheap. Breakfast the next morning was the typical Fairfield or Hampton Inn style breakfast. Satisfactory if you enjoy that type of food to start your day. I would return to the Springhill next door before we would return to the Towneplace.

Good space, decent quick breakfast options. Wish the indoor pool wasn’t freezing cold. Accommodating staff. Rainie at the front desk was always kind and helpful! She definitely made an extended stay very welcoming

The room we had at this hotel was really adequate for us for the night. There was a kitchen included with a refrigerator and stove which we really didn't need but it would be great for those who had a longer stay in the area. The bed was comfortable enough but the bedding wasn't as nice as in the other Marriott hotels we usually stay in. It had a tendency to slip off during the night. We found the hotel to be one of the quietest though on our trip. Victoria, the person we who checked us in was great. We had trouble with our TV and she was able to fix it for us right away. It appeared someone must've been using it perhaps for a presentation and had disconnected some wires. One odd thing about the room was that the water smelled off a bit when the shower was on and the water flow from the showerhead wasn't great. We did have the free hot breakfast in the morning and were able to get back on the road nice and early.
