Okay, it's not horrible! Our room was updated and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Just a couple minor things...the tub didn't drain great and there were a couple lightbulbs that needed to be replaced. A box of tissue and a blow dryer would be nice. Breakfast was average. The morning front desk clerk wasn't very friendly.

Great staff very friendly and helpful. Very easy to book and was accommodating to our service animals. Would definitely stay at this place and chain again. No issues at all, quiet room and very near to restaurants and shopping areas. This was a pleasant stay.

***Bed bugs*** My husband and I just needed a place to sleep for the night on our way to a wedding. We woke up itching in the night with bites going up our ankles and legs and worried it was bed bugs. So we turned on the lights really quick and inspected the blanket and found an adult bed bug. It was 2am, so we killed it and decided to just take all the covers off the bed and deal with the issue in the morning, as we were exhausted from work and travel and the damage was done. In the morning we went and tried to discreetly inform the front desk manager (Thomas) of our experience and ask for a refund for our stay. He said he needed to check out the room first and look for himself, which was fine by us. When he came back he said he found dead, decomposed bed bugs in our room. We told him the live one that had bitten us was killed and thrown in the trash that the cleaning lady had already taken out. Then Thomas changed his story and said he had dug through her trash and found that bed bug (that we killed) and it was dead. But since all the bed bugs he found were dead he would not refund us our money under those circumstances. We bid him a good day and left. We spent hours on the phone with customer service for days inn and priceline (the third party we booked through) and nearly all the many representatives we spoke to were very rude and unwilling to do anything to help us other than send an email apology. Considering the great financial risk posed by possibly bringing bed bugs into our own home, this whole experience was a great disappointment and we will not be booking with any motels in this chain again. I have attached a photo of my ankle from this morning (two days after our stay) where you can clearly see the characteristic trail of bites that bed bugs leave. There are more bites on my other leg and up the backs of my husband's legs. The only positive thing out of this whole experience that I want to mention is the sweet front desk woman who checked us in and the cleaning lady who were both very kind and took as much pride in their jobs that they could and deserve praise for those things.

covers and found a plastic cap and a plastic end that had once held a sales tag onto an item. I also found black pet hair and a dried crusty presumably blood stain. Again I was too exhausted to pack up and go so I stripped the bed and went to the office for clean bedding. In the morning when I tried to shower the water was cold, after letting it running for 10 minutes or so I was able to get some warm water although the water pressure was lacking. At checkout I spoke with the desk manager and I gave them the opportunity to make it right and refund my money and avoid this candid review and he chose the review.
