Hotel Theodore

The hotel is perfectly located beautifully appointed, and the team were incredible. Each and every person I encountered were professional, Amazingly pleasant, and Always smiling. The restaurant had just rolled out a new menu, which was absolutely delicious and an incredible atmosphere. Very much looking forward to staying there again when back in Seattle.

Trendy hotel with simple check in and check out and within easy access to capital hill, shopping and the theater. We parked our car next door in the parking garage. The room we picked was small and cozy but clean and cute and the perfect size and affordability for an evening of experiences in Seattle. My husband and I would definitely stay there again.

Nice hotel, (very) small rooms. Public areas were spotlessly clean and had a pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately the room was small and dark. The bathroom was even smaller - needed to lean over to see myself in the mirror. The only surface to lay out toiletries was directly over the toilet. Although nothing rolled off into the toilet, there was a real chance of it happening. On the positive side, the decor made great use of the limited space and the price was reasonable.

This is the second stay at HT for my daughter and I. We love it! Comfy bed, amazing North woods scent in entire building, friendly staff and great location. The sink in 810 was tiny, but the shower made up for it. Close to the Market, shopping and Capitol Hill. We toured Seattle U and UW (cherry blossoms in bloom!). So relaxing and fun.

The hotel is nicely updated and the cleaning staff is very friendly and efficient. The rest of the staff is also efficient. The hotel is also in a good location in downtown Seattle not too far from the light rail and the Public Market. The drawbacks are first, the room size; we had a standard king and it was pretty tiny for two people; it was a bit claustrophobic. I was glad we were only staying for one night. Second, there are a lot of homeless and addicts in the area, which is particularly noticeable at night. Third, the hotel is already very expensive given the room size but they added a $32 "destination fee" so be on the lookout for that in the small print of your reservation (ours actually said $25, although I did not notice it when I booked the room). It just seems tacky to me; just charge your clients a price and don't try to sneak additional charges in. Oh, and stay away from the $7 bottle of water that "welcomes" you to your room. All of this made what could have been a postive hotel experience seem cheap.
