I spent two nights here visiting my wonderful third child. Here are my quick observations: 1. The entire reservation/check-in process was easy and seamless. I did not have to pay up front, and I received several personal emails reminding me of my upcoming stay. 2. The young woman who checked me in was kind and gracious. I did not retain her name, but she deserves a raise! 3. The free parking is directly behind the hotel and is very convenient. 4. My room on the third floor was very pleasant with all the normal amenities. (I did not like the funky coffee maker.) 5. The coffee and breakfast off the lobby were quite tasty. I took a muffin and cookie for my pre-flight breakfast the following day. 6. The village of Fairhaven is charming and attractive. I especially loved the bookstore which is about 100 feet away from the Hotel.

The Village Inn was the perfect place for our stay in Bellingham. The room was beautiful and it was right in the heart of Fairhaven. We walked everywhere. The coktail bar was a great way to end our evening. I'd stay again, given the chance.

The room was beautiful and spotless, replete with working electric fireplace, walk-in shower, and very comfortable bed with high quality linens. This is one of the quietest Inns we have had the pleasure to stay in. Beautiful decor that was made to replicate an old victorian inn. Our room overlooked the bay. There were low buildings in front of our view but they did not distract from the beauty of the area. The area is charming and very walkable, lots of high end stores. Reminds me of a smaller version of the beautiful town of Asheville, NC before the devastation of Helene.
