Swinomish Casino & Lodge

Went to Whidbey for a birthday party, and this was close. Nice clean room, smoke free!!! Enjoyed the view of the bay. Slept well. Parents were down a run and enjoyed it as well. Nice to be able to go down for food and drinks. Want to come back and spend a little more time.

Basically a fancy dormitory for gamblers. The shower was just wonderful. No matter what the thermo setting, it blew cold air on your head all night. The pillows were like bricks. The handicapped parking is the closest, but still a long walk to the hotel. The signage is bad. To get to the hotel from the west, you have to go over a bridge and make a U-turn onto a busy highway. No signs anywhere. Our water view included 24 travel trailers parked behind the hotel. The front desk people were very, very nice. Other than the front desk people, the hotel was not warm and inviting; but cold and sterile.

The lodge is in a beautiful location with views of the bay on one side. The room was very nice and clean, the staff very personable. We were booked into a non accessible room and needed one wheelchair accessible. The staff was able to change our room and the new one was just as nice. There are a multitude of dining options and of course the casino. We’ll be back next year for the Tulip festival.

From the start: Front desk customer service was excellent they were friendly and actually wanted to take care of us. The room was clean and the bay View was excellent. The shower is also excellent. The hotel was extremely clean and felt very safe as well. I left my coat in my room. Called the hotel and they sent it to me at no cost!!!! Wow
