We made reservations to stay here following an event at Embassy Suites. The event space was great and the event itself was well executed including the food and overall set-up. Biggest drawback is the hotel is a bit overrun with unsupervised kids everywhere and people who don’t understand elevator protocol (i.e. allow those in the elevator to step out before shoving inside) or hotel courtesy. A lot of the guests just seemed unaware that they are in a shared public space so wandering around in grubby pajamas, slippers or bare foot is not acceptable. Hotel staff should manage this. It makes for an overall poor impression. I guess this is what is meant by “you get what you pay for?” Check-in was ok. When recaption told me the price, I was surprised as it was more than the price confirmation I received online. She explained Hilton always changes a $100 damage fee that is returned at checkout if there are no issues. We have stayed at a lot of Hiltons and have never experienced this. There are two elevators and they are incredibly slow. Once we dropped our bags we just used the stairs as it was easier and quicker than waiting on the elevator. It should be noted the stairwell is poorly lit and grungy. When we finally got to our floor, housekeeping was still being done and there were piles of dirty laundry in the hallway and the carts were literally blocking our path with mops hanging off the side. This was at 4:30 PM. My husband had to move the cart in order for us to pass by. The ice machine on our floor was not working so we went up a floor for ice. It was not marked as being out of order and not mentioned at check-in. Again, this is not the Hilton experience we are used to. The rooms are suites so you have a couch, TV, mini fridge, microwave , sink, coffee maker, and table and chairs. The couch was pretty worn out and sagging. The ceiling is really low and the lighting casts a yellow/orange hue. The fridge and coffee maker worked fine. Everything seemed clean just kind of outdated and in need of a refresh. The bathroom was spacious with a lot of countertop room which we appreciated and a slow close toilet lid. That is rare lol. The lighting in the bathroom was much better than the rest of the spaces. There were enough towels and they were good quality. The bedroom had popcorn ceiling and again the lighting was very poor. There was a full length mirror which was great. The bed was comfortable as was the bedding. When we went to bed there was some street/interstate noise so you may want to consider earplugs. There is a bar/restaurant and you get vouches for two free drinks each. We did partake in a drink before the event we were there for and service and the drink was fine except they will not do a shaken martini if you use the vouchers. Very weird. They also have a snack bar you can partake in which included veggies with hummus and ranch dressing, peanut mix and tortilla chips. After the event, we went back for a drink with our friends. A waitperson came over and said it was two minutes until last call and then walked away. We all then just went to the bar to order. He came back about 10 minutes later and asked for our orders but we no longer needed service. Shortly thereafter a fight took place just outside the restaurant doors and we had a clear view from our seats by the windows. Three hotel employees went out, apparently just to watch as no one called the police. Eventually the person who appeared to have started the fight came back in, sat at the bar and was served a drink. That is also not up to Hilton standards. Highlight was the coffee. Everything else was cold. We did not wait in line for the omelette and just opted for French toast, eggs, potatoes and sausage. One of the utensils holders was partially empty and you could see the bottom which had hair and coffee grounds in it and other debris. We pulled a fork from an overflowing container as we figured the bottom of that container was probably filthy as well so it was safer to take from the top of the pile. At checkout, a large group of very loud people stood just outside the doors smoking. This is a non-smoking location and I didn’t see any ashtrays. It was not pleasant to have to walk through the smoke to get to our car. Staff should intervene when that happens and again this is not in line with past Hilton experiences. Overall, we slept fine so if the event returns at this location next year we would consider returning but overall this did not feel like a quality Hilton experience.

Stayed for 4 days. Room extremely dusty. Hard to breathe. Filthy carpet. Stained sofa. At check-in, I asked Raven if we could get a complimentary upgrade. She flat-out said no and that the hotel was fully booked. I asked if there was anything available for a Diamond member and she again said no, with zero effort to check or at least pretend to check. She didn’t even offer the complimentary water that Diamond members are supposed to get. I had to ask for everything. When we got to our room, we were immediately hit with a strong, dusty smell. By the 3rd day, I couldn’t take it anymore and went to the front desk again to request an upgrade. This time, a bald older male staff member helped me. He also bluntly said no, stating there were no available upgrades. Frustrated, I told him he should try staying in our filthy room and see how it feels. He then said ohh I "found" a better room for you on the 5th floor. So why did I have to raise my voice just to be treated with basic respect? I also overheard the front desk giving other guests the same dismissive responses when they requested cleaner rooms. Is the staff trained to say "nope" to loyal customers? It certainly felt that way. The only positive part of our stay was the complimentary drinks and snacks and it's also nearby the event we were attending. Otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, poor service, unclean rooms and a front desk staff that seems more interested in denying requests than helping guests.

This hotel is always comfortable. The staff are very responsive, timely, and call to follow up to make sure any concerns are resolved. I love how they send a text when you check in, and you can text requests. But, the food! The food has always been good, and there have been some updates to the menu and now it’s even better. The chicken is always cooked perfectly no matter the dish. Try the BBQ chicken flatbread.

The staff was helpful and welcoming! When we immediately noticed that the heat wasn't working in the first unit, we were promptly given another one. The onsite restaurant is a tasty and convenient one. The breakfast was well provided and included on-the-spot requests prepared. The suite was spacious, and the bedding was comfortable. There was no freeway noise at all inside. It would have been helpful to have more towel racks (and fewer art pieces) instead of only one small ring hand-towel holder in the bathroom; there were only the hooks at the very top of the door back and the shower curtain rod for hanging towels. Parking spaces were plentiful, and stores and food services were close by. We would definitely stay there again.

Totally kid friendly! Sarcasm. If you want peace, DO NOT STAY HERE. The staff let the children run around the lobby and the floors screaming at the top of their lungs. It's an indoor daycare. I watched kids climbing on the indoor lamp posts, sprawled out on the floor, playing with their electric motor toys, playing tag - it is a jungle gym for kids. Some playing hide and seek, using the elevators and stairs while guests waited for ridiculous wait times for the elevators. Children chasing each other, almost tripping the poor waitress several times. One little girl had a very high-pitch scream she liked to stand in the lobby and scream. All this went on until 10:30pm. Then early the next morning the kids were running and playing again - and the high-pitch screaming two year old at it again. There was a soccer tournament, apparently anything goes when one is in town. This is the reason for the behavior of every child in the hotel per management. Families were staying due to electricity out for several days too. Lovely place to drop your kids off in the spacious lobby and ignore them. Management said there was nothing they could do, this is how it is. And this response from management enables the non-parenting parents to get tanked in the restaurant while the staff babysits - the poor waitress getting the children off the light poles. And the liquored up parents become brazen toward other guests for asking them to manage their children - only for staff to say there is nothing they can do about aggressive guests. And the motor on top of the fifth floor (above my room) shakes the fire sprinkler in my room. Rattles, all night. Maintenance said nothing could be done. Vibration from the motor was so loud, couldn't sleep well - with ear plugs. Don't stay in room 529 unless your are hard of hearing and don't feel vibrations - unless you don't care. And what hotel doesn't have mint tea? This one. This ES is the arm pit (stinky and foul - low class) of all Embassy Suites I've stayed at over the years.
