I arrived and seen a young man dressed very professional cleaning. I thought mmmm. That's different. Where are the cleaning people. He then greeted me, with a warm welcome and bright smile. something you don't see these days. This same young man checked me in. It was the FASTEST check in experience I have ever had. I thought man that was fast, I just booked my room 15 mins before arriving. He gave me a welcome bag. And all the hotel info wifi, breakfast hours, full service bar and restaurant hours ,pool hours, fitness hours and guest work station computer. After unloading i went back down to run an errand .This young man was still cleaning and even set iced cold tea out for guest.(which was good). When I arrive back to the hotel. I seen him on his knees trying to get a guest into a locked room. Mind you he had on nice slacks. I thought to myself... Where is the maintenance people. Man this guy needs a raise. He also was checking on guest in the restaurant. He ran the hotel all by himself. GREAT job young man. I later found out he is the front office manager. I've never seen a manager go over and beyond. I will be back , thanks to Mr.Kartez Quinn.

I was bitten about 20 times on both sides of me from laying in the bed and spent the next 4 days clawing the bites non-stop. They moved me to another room with a broken heater. The room climbed up to 86 degrees. I had to leave the room and sit in the lobby to escape the heat while leaving the door open to see if the room would cool down. They moved me rooms again all the way down the hallway. My only request when booking was to be near the lobby and I ended up in the last room. Iām on a knee scooter with a broken ankle so moving rooms was difficult not to mention tracking that hallway on one leg. The manager had an oh well attitude and none of this was my fault. I checked out a day early and was told they wouldnāt credit the day back to me because I booked through a booking site and not the hotel direct. I didnāt pay to be eaten by bugs and sit in a lobby. Horrible manager. Zero stars for her. No people skills at all. I couldnāt get pics of the back of my shoulders.

Great location near the battlefield park. Clean hotel, comfortable beds, quiet, nice staff. We had an āendā room on the top floor and loved having two windows! The room was big and airy. Would recommend this property and stay here again if we were in the area.

The hotel was ok. I noticed trash on the floor in the hallway that remained there for multiple days. The electrical outlet beside the bathroom sink was not functioning the first night but was repaired the following day after notifying management. The furnishings were somewhat dated. The bedding was comfortable though. I would not stay here again if given a choice.

The staff here are wonderful and the bed very comfortable. The rest of the hotel not so much. Itās very dated and the room furniture shows it. The lighting throughout the room and the bathroom was horrible. The floor lamp and one of the bedside table lamps didnāt work. The āpleatherā of the bedās headboard has a huge slash in it. Yes, as if someone took a knife to it. Peeling paint around windows. Exposed cable from the ( really old) HVCA unit. Donāt know if we had a room waiting for rehab or if all the rooms are like ours. I honestly donāt understand the positive reviews.
