Travelodge Lynchburg

The hotel was easy to access, the property was well maintained for it's age, the room was clean and everything worked, for the most part. The bed was comfortable. The refrigerator was unplugged when I got there & I didn't plug it in. The alarm on the bedside clock apparently could not be set to not go off. The staff was friendly, but didn't say much. With this pandemic there was no breakfast, entry into the lobby or a high number of guests (so parking was plentiful). They were doing some work to the pool so obviously they're taking care of the property (pool was closed for the season). My biggest problem was the internet, it was slower than death. I complained to no real avail. My screen saver would come on before my email would download & it was slower than my scrolling on Facebook. I wanted to send some pictures for a business email...forget that. In today's world internet is almost as important as water or electricity. I seldom use a the TV, but tried since the internet was so poor & we didn't get along well (it said Dish, had lots of channels but decided to update in the middle of my scrolling).

Upon checking in i paid for a double but ass told i would have to take the king. But was charged the same price. The room stink and the blankets CLEARLY were dirty. The location was okay but was very unhappy. UPDATE when i left this review they tried to lie and say i cursed smh. (+) check in was quick and the maintenance guy worked an hour on the tv (-) the breakfast was nonexistent, beds were rock hard, one pillow per person, YELLOW over mirror light :( no help for makeup. Last time I ever stay here!!

rooms were clean and comfortable staff was friendly and very accommodating. would stay there again. they had a nice pool area and parking was convenient . close to liberty university and dining areas also near shopping areas.

Okay place to stay. Price was high due to many events being in town at the same time. Near to downtown. No diet drinks in the vending machine. Near restaurants that were very good. Just wish the price was in the range you would expect for a low end motel rather than a mid range
