Best Western Leesburg Hotel & Conference Center

Quick summary: quiet, clean comfortable room. Some minor disappointments. Friendly, helpful, professional staff. We stayed in Room #120, which has two queen beds. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Light duvet and top sheet were not too warm nor too cool. HVAC works well, and quietly, Many of the amenities you expect with BW properties: big screen TV, microwave, fridge, chest of drawers, iron/board, comfy chair for sitting as well as desk and ergo chair. Good bedside lamp has multiple outlets to recharge your devices. Coffee maker, but bring your own tea as needed. Get this and real half-and-half in the coffee area in the common rooms. (always better than powdered stuff) Bench to catch your suitcase, but again, there is a chest of drawers, a closet, etc. Small table to the side, as well as the desk. Tub/shower combo, but the drain plug was loose and dislodged. I got it to work, but I always wish that housekeeping would make sure the bathtub could be used as such. If you don't want guests to take a bath, replace it with a walk-in shower and be done with it. Shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel provided. More due diligence: the TV as not working when we arrived. The desk person could not get it to work, and as it was a Sunday night, there would be no tech person available to fix. Again, it would be nice if housekeeping checked all the systems in the room on Friday to that when the weekend arrived, and no tech to fix things, the room would have no malfunctions. Breakfast was good, but I have had better at other BW properties. There was the range of eggs, sausage patties, toast and breads, some pastries, juice, cereals, etc., but the potatoes were very dried out -- like hard, cold cotton. In any case, it would have been useful to have a microwave in the area to reheat some of the items that should have been warmer. I did not se any real half-and-half for coffee. The yogurt was a kid-style brand, loaded with sugar. I prefer the Activia that I see at other BW properties (yes, we stay at BW's often on or road trips.) Thank you for the fresh fruit apples, though. The attendant at breakfast was very nice and kind - he helped a more handicapped lady assemble her breakfast. Easy on-off the highway. So - this was a comfortable stay, and we'd stay again, but there is room for improvement.

Great hotel. Clean rooms, soft comfy beds. Plenty of pillows. Spacious room amd dog friendly. Convenient to eateries and food delivery. Large parking lot and a nice pool. And a pet potty area complete with bags and a trash can. Safe area located just off the highway.

Great experience here! Don't let the first looks fool you, the hotel is well maintained and clean. Plenty of parking and easily accessible Yes, there are somethings that could use updating, but what hotel doesn't?! The manager, Debbie, is very nice as well as the other staff. My room was ready when I arrived, everything was clean and fresh. The breakfast is tasty! They have hot foods, cereal, fresh made omelettes, waffle irons for fresh hot waffles, fresh fruit and of course coffee and juice. The hotel is nicely located in Leesburg which has a wonderful downtown withing walking distance, convenient to route 7, outlet shopping, wineries and other fun sites. There are several restaurants a very short walk across the parking lot. The airport and train are within 30 minutes from the hotel, too. The hotel also has conference rooms for events, trying and meetings. I've stayed at this hotel twice over the last year or so for work and have been comfortable each time.

Comfortable and clean room, good breakfast, quiet and clean. All problems handled quickly and efficiently. We were charged a good rate. Had to be in area for work, and drove further for first night but glad we found this one to complete stay. Would stay there again.

The hotel was in a good location and front desk staff friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was not working. The breakfast was good with a variety of options. The were some nearby restaurants. Is located near The Washington and Old Dominion Trail for access to cyclists.
