This motel was a great location. Close to the national park and there's a Walmart across the street. Neighborhood is nice and we felt safe. The wait staff at check in and check out were very nice, friendly, and helpful. This hotel could use some updating. The room looks like they tried to update it, but the bathroom is old. The room and bathroom were as clean as they could get, but the outside of our microwave was really gross and I'm glad I didn't have to use it. They served a hot breakfast with eggs, sausage, and potatoes. The breakfast was a little disorganized. The food was a bit bland and there weren't any grab and go items. I would stay here again despite some of the mishaps.

This Econo Lodge was a pleasant surprise. With the very economical room rate I paid for the night that I passed thru, my expectations were pretty low and while my experience was pleasant, there are quite a few things that could be worked on in order to improve the review rating. First impression prior to entering hotel room: - Building material (new in package) dispersed throughout property - Workers present (including one that was pressure washing the parking lot surface) - Pleasant, courteous staff - Front desk clerk (solo) kindly suggested I take a seat while they were assisting another customer, so I wouldn't be standing for the few minutes it took before it was my turn - Lobby wall appearance of aged paint of varying shades and chipped surfaces - Pool has no water and is closed - Single room with an ice machine/ laundry/ fitness equipment (one elliptical machine) plus excess storage had an overflowing trash can The room: - Booked a 2 queen room with kitchenette - 2 queen beds with pillowtop mattress, varying firmness between the two - Three pillows of varying firmness (for user preference) - Comforter atop a fitted sheet; no flat sheet present - Room light had a bare bulb; missing shade or other bulb covering - Recently painted walls, new toilet, updated furnishings (kitchenette countertop and sink, furniture), similar to management-provided photos on Tripadvisor - Older shower/ tub and old restroom sink outside of toilet/ bath (peach-colored granite sink counter and porcelain drop-in sink in contrast to white-colored granite kitchenette countertop with modern kitchen faucet and stainless steel sink) - Two refrigerators; one brand new and one older one, with some packaged food leftover from the previous guest that I discarded - 32" TV with Dish Network (standard definition feed only) - Non-same number of shampoo and lotion; asked housekeeper for more lotion and conditioner (that was not present) and was provided such to make that number even - Management-provided photos on Tripadvisor showed cooking appliances, plates, bowls, cups, flatware in kitchenette; room did not contain any of such, except for a coffee maker that did not have a pull-out tray to place the coffee pod inside, rendering the coffeemaker useless - Vinyl floors were clean as it appeared to be wet-mopped prior to arrival The breakfast: - Based on prior Choice Hotels' Easy Starts Continental Breakfast offerings, I had an expectation of a (cold) breakfast consisting of all carbs (assorted juices, cereal and baked goods) - Provided (hot) breakfast consisted of eggs, sausage, seasoned potatoes, apples, waffle maker, cereal, milk, green tea, coffee and one juice (Tampico citrus punch) The staff I interacted with (front desk and housekeeper) were really nice, prompt and addressed my inquiries. The hot food was a pleasant surprise; surpassed the "Easy Starts" continental breakfast description from Choice Hotels' website. However, an improvement with the consistency of the management-provided photos to what was actually in the room could make this motel a bit more comfortable. This motel served my needs for an overnight trip and for the price paid, it exceeded my expectations despite the inconsistencies noted.

I booked two rooms for two nights at this motel. The motel is under renovation and the renovated rooms are in decent condition, however the carpeting was not changed, nor was it clean. Our rooms were not "cleaned", as we did not received clean towels after our first night and our beds were not straightened, no one had entered out rooms! When questioned, the management was very rude and said they only checked rooms after a three night stay and they did not offer clean towels. Breakfast consisted of two loves of bread that could be toasted, a bottle of apple juice and a bottle of milk. For $100, per night per room I feel this is unacceptable!!!

This little hotel was a bit tattered and torn, but the bed was comfy, which is important. The shower floor creaked rather ominously (second story). It seemed clean, but not real sure of the carpet - didn't want to get down there and check it out. There was just a tiny bottle of shampoo, no conditioner, and no liquid soap - just the tiny bars. We were just passing through, so it worked for us. Breakfast was pretty limited, so we didn't partake. Handy to have a washer and dryer if needed. Ice machine in same building as laundry. Basically, this property needs some TLC. Folks running it were very kind and welcoming. Air conditioner was very noisy.
