We are Hilton Honors members. Kevin at the front desk was very accommodating and attentive, especially with late check-out time. We were there for a funeral. Room was clean, smelled nice and it was well appointed. Everything was good value with the exception of the most hideous lumpy pillows that unfortunately most if not all Hilton Garden Inns have. I would not hesitate to reserve rooms in Hilton Garden Inn properties if it werenāt for the lumpy uncomfortable pillows. Thereās no way to sleep well in them. I am also member of competitor hotel chains and I constantly make decisions worth $180 to 230 a night based on pillows worth $30. Hilton purchasing department: Save on something else! Do yourselves a favor and buy some decent pillows. Your room revenue will increase.

I made two room reservations through Expedia at this hotel with the guarantee the reservation could be cancelled two days prior to my arrival. The reservation was not reserved as prepaid yet Hilton Garden Inn ran my credit card anyway and charged me for the two rooms. I cancelled the two rooms five days prior to arrival, well within the cancellation period advertised. The Hilton Garden Inn refuses to honor this cancellation and will not refund my money. I'm out $2,400 and I did nothing wrong!!

Our daughter's Wedding Reception held in their larger Ballroom/ Banquet Hall in October 2024 went extremely well! Julio, the Banquet Manager was present during the entire time and oversaw all aspects of the reception, lighting, audio, etc. and everything worked very smoothly. We learned that the chef as well as Julio had been working at this location for many years. The chef was wonderfully able to tweak items based on our food taste and did an amazing job even preparing a Quinoa dish according to the recipe we provided. Food was excellent and several of our relatives commented on how delicious and healthy the selections were. Maria was also present during the event and very helpful. Michael, the catering manager was very pleasant to interact with and flexible; our primary interactions with him were on the day we went for the "food tasting" and when we confirmed the menu. Our interactions with the General Manager Allen were very pleasant as well. Deannie, the Sales Manager at that time was also very pleasant to work with, flexible and helpful.

Comfortable but front desk customer service in every area you can imagine (one-word irritated responses, confrontational attitude, hanging up on front desk calls, not reviewing amenities or internet services, etc) was THE worst Iāve ever experienced in my life from any hotel anywhere and iām fairly widely travelled, so to me that says an aweful lot. The rest of the hotel was amazing and luxurious - just donāt expect a tub unless you have a disability that requires an accessible room. All their rooms have showers except a very few. perhaps this is why the front desk agent gave me an attitude? because I wasnāt in a wheelchair?

I am a Hiltons member and look for their properties wherever I travel. I come to Fairfax, Virginia frequently and I choose Hilton Garden Inn Fairfax when I am there. The staff are courteous, kind, and helpful. I have never had an issue with the room or amenities. The property both inside and outside are kept immaculate. Recently in October 2024, I had an early morning pick up to the airport and dropped my sweater just outside the door. I called from the airport and the desk attendant found it and I asked her to save it and mail it back to me once they receive a UPS package receipt from me. She and the the other staff graciously packaged up my favorite sweater and mailed it back to me. For me, this was above and beyond professional courteousness, this was a true customer centered moment. I highly recommend this property when you are considering a hotel in Fairfax.
