I made a reservation at this hotel through Expedia in November 2024. We werenāt sure if we could make the trip so we made the reservation through Expedia because it said we could cancel up until January 17th. We had to cancel and Alan Davis said we could not get our money back because it was inauguration week. That is not what Expedia told us so we should be able to get our money back. Hilton charged us the full amount (1239.00) in November. We never gave Hilton our credit card info so they should not have been able to charge us. We had friends who also canceled two rooms and that was a total of (2400.00) that they could not get back. This hotel is the biggest rip off ever. They have about 3700.00 of our money and refuse to give it back. DONāT STAY AT THIS HOTEL BECAUSE THEY ARE A RIP OFF!!

Dirty and Worn Out. Room was not vacuumed, furniture was worn out and filthy. Elevators and hallways are always dirty. TV has bright LED lights on display - put in service request but nothingā¦One elevator into so you can take the service elevator or wait. Breakfast staff is awesome. Buffet is pretty weak and expensive. No Executive Floor nor is there a Lounge. Prices up, service and perks down.

Stayed at the Hilton Fairfax this past weekend. Very nice property, quiet location, comfortable room. Service was EXCELLENT. I had Brandon check me in and check me out of the hotel and he was helpful, efficient, polite and professional. He is exactly what you want your first point-of-contact person to be when you are checking into a hotel.

1 Star. Formerly a Hyatt years ago. I checked in and was walking up to the front desk, surprised to see Brandon sitting in a chair, barely greeting anybody. It was such an inconvenience to him to check me in no personality no genuine hospitality, and he should truly not be working for a hotel. I gave him my Amex Platinum card for check in and he pointed me to the credit card machine on the counter and said you can swipe it there for incidentals then he asked me for my Hilton Honors number and when I pulled up my Apple wallet and showed it to him, he said you can read it out to me so I can put it in the computer. Truly showed his lack of effort to give a crap. If Brandon knew what hospitality was, he would know that without guests he would not have a job. I guess he single-handedly profiled an Asian woman checking in with a backpack thinking I was 20 years old when in reality I am 40 and a business traveler, his counterpart who is at the front desk, was sitting in a chair and said nothing nor greeted or looked like she truly gave to fingers about her job as well. Once I got my keys he said the elevators are over there.. the worst check-in experience I have ever endured feeling profiled and unappreciated. Thank you, Brandon for such a wonderful Friday experience and letās not forget. I asked for a domestic do not disturb on a room and he barely acknowledged the security on that as well..
