Comfort Inn & Suites near Danville Mall

We spent a night here (with our dog) as a stopover on a longer trip. Location is great, easy access, on a hill so you feel removed from the traffic and bustle below, large parking lot, good area to walk dog. Staff was friendly and helpful, room very clean, beds very comfortable. Pet rooms were on first floor with their own doors outside. The lock on ours was tricky so we didn’t use it. We instead used the door to the hallway and went out the side door exit from the building. That worked well. Everything felt very safe. Oh and there’s a great restaurant in the hotel. It’s Mexican food with a whole lot more. Truly something for everyone. I’m often wary of hotel restaurants but this one was really bustling and it turned out great! Food was really good, as was the service. So nice not to have to get back in the car! Breakfast the next morning was fine, not great, but oh well. Overall this was a great stop and we highly recommend.

Best hotel I've stayed in for a very long time. And I'm a traveler. Beds comfy. Pillows great. Hotel clean. Entire staff very courteous and pleasant. Breakfast was large variety and delicious. Definitely would stay again and recommend highly.

I was extremely please with Comfort Inn Suites the room everything and the restaurant that is connected trust me they have some really good food and everybody at the hotel was very friendly and the bed and the pillows were comfortable whenever I return to Danville Virginia this is where I'm staying Comfort Inn Suites

Stayed here on a work trip, the lobby is pretty clean except when there was trash drippings strung through the hotel lobby making the floor slippery. One of the 2 elevators was down and I was told it had been down for atleast 8 months, the one working elevator was slow. The room was ok, the temperature was tough to regulate, it had an odd smell, but the bed was comfortable.

Don't go. Travel another 38 miles to Greensboro, NC. Never again will we stay there. The staff was nice but this is an old hotel that needs a total gut. I was concerned about the door - old and not well built - big sign on inside indicating to be careful of locking doors and valuables. Good location is the only thing going for it. Breakfast is a joke.
