Holiday Inn Express Troutville an IHG Hotel

Was in town for a softball tournament. The hotel was nice, it was clean. The lady the ran the Breakfeast as great. The lady that ran the evening shift was rude. Her name was Maggie and ruined the whole stay. I won’t return to the hotel as long as I know Maggie is there. She is rude and disrespectful to the guest. I have never been treated that way by hotel staff and I am Diamond IHG member with 3 companies that use IHG.

We stayed here the night before a flight out of the Roanoke airport, which is only about a 15 minute drive away. Very nice hotel with outstanding service from everyone we interacted with. This was my first stay at this hotel but will definitely use again.

Holiday Inn Express in Troutville was a positive experience from arrival until departure. The most important thing for me is the ability to get a good night's sleep. Here are the reasons this hotel helped me achieve that goal: #1 The granted me the room I requested when I made the reservation (away from the elevators and on the top floor. #2 The HVAC unit had the ability to be on "constant fan". The words" constant fan" do NOT appear on the wall thermostat but using the thermostat's left button you CAN command/set the unit to blow without interruption. #3 They provide pillows that are "firm" and others that are "soft". They are actually labeled on the pillow cases (firm or soft). The free/included breakfast was good and every staff member I interacted with was nice. I'll be returning to this hotel in the future :) Steve (from Brick Township)

My husband, son and grandson stayed here one night on their way home from a Texas hunt. The room was nice, clean and just what they needed. What was exceptional was 4 hours after checking out, they got a phone call. My grandson left his envelope with $52 cash in it in the room. Housekeeping turned it in and the hotel contacted us for a mailing address. 4 days later, the cash arrived in the mail. Kudos to your honest employee, this restores our faith in people!

Got a late check out at the Holiday Inn Express Troutville Roanoke North. It’s a great hotel with the people being really nice and the rooms are a good size, so is the bathrooms and they are very clean. I do love the fact that they have their TV on a swivel it makes it very easy to see it from the desk, bed, or even catch a glimpse from the bathroom if you want.
