Yes, 5 stars for a travel hotel. This is a relatively new hotel, so it is in very good shape as a facility. Our room was spacious and well appointed, the king-size bed was very comfortable, wifi was strong, and there was plenty of hot water in the shower. The breakfast is a bit more extensive than most travel hotels. We enjoyed cheese omelets, bacon, oatmeal, and fruit, but other selections were also available. The breakfast area was well organized and well attended. The fifth star is in light of the management. We experienced loud and continuous talking from an adjacent room well after 11:00 PM. After we reported the situation, management immediately both visited and telephoned the loud room. This resolved the situation almost immediately. The next morning we were offered apologies and were also informed that no one would be placed in that room for the upcoming night so that there would be no doubt that we would get a good nights sleep. At checkout the next day, we were also informed that the manager had refunded a significant amount of our payment for the first night. The amazing way that this was all handled speaks volumes about this establishment. Such treatment is probably 1 in 1000 (or more) for a travel hotel. Our deep thanks go to management. We will be traveling to Abingdon again later this summer. I would not even consider staying at any other place than this Country Inn and Suites.

Clean rooms, nice showers. Conveniently located by some great local food. Complimentary breakfast and exercise equipment. Has a pool for the summertime. Very nice and spacious bathrooms. Showers had great water pressure and nice and hot water.

We were there for just one night, but found the hotel to be extremely pet friendly, which was important to us. They had a small, but convenient pet exercise area just outside the back door on the first floor. Breakfast in the morning was outstanding, with eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravey, cereals, coffee, and juice! We would definitely stay there again.

Would recommend for overnight highway travel, convenient to the interstate. Front desk is nice. Parking lot can get very full especially at night. Room is decent however internet is SLOW. I'd stay again but not for extended stay if I needed to work.

Sold our home needed temporary place. Can't say enough about this place. All Staff members are very accommodating, polite and kind! Especially Sharon manager front desk went above and beyond when I needed something. Breakfast hot, nice variety attendent very sweet. Room clean and welcoming we had Pet Friendly which is awesome being able to bring your fur baby part of the family 😀
