Obviously, the location can't be beat. Our unit was right at the Solitude Day Lodge with the Solitude Express Quad lift right outside our door. We stayed in a 1 bedroom unit on the 2nd floor with a dedicated ski locker right down the corridor. The unit itself was very clean (with the exception of the shower curtain, which was very gross and moldy), and the king bed was actually pretty comfy. However, to say that the unit as a whole was outdated is an understatement. It was literally stuck in 1980. While the kitchen appliances were updated, there was funky colored tired carpeting and floral wallpaper everywhere, uncomfortable and dated furniture, an old television in a cabinet, no coffeemaker for pods, no USB ports, lamps that didn't work, and an excess of light switches that never seemed to turned anything on. All we could do was laugh at that point, seeing that it was not cheap. While we would stay at a Solitude unit again, we will be sure not to rent this one in particular.

You can’t do any better for location 30 yards to the A/B Quads. In our 1st floor unit, loading in and out for our long weekend was a breeze. The kitchen was well equipped for breakfasts and lunches. No reason why a party of 4 wouldn’t enjoy their stay. Except our unit was pretty tired and in need of cleaning and update. The kitchen appliances were relatively new and worked great. The heating system had awful dirt streaks coming from the vent, the undersized bathroom clearly had moisture problems and above the fireplace there was evidence of a pretty bad leak. Other units maybe in better shape than this one. This won has had about all it can take.
