Happy Goat Retreat

Was invited out for a birthday party. The units were so super cute and set up with just what you would need. Then beds were comfy. We needed up having more little girls stay then expected so speaking with management they were able to help accommodate us for a good price. We all enjoyed the pool and feeding the goats. Would recommend this place over and over again!! 🩷🩷

I booked Happy Goat Retreat for a work trip. I stayed in the Applewood container, and I absolutely loved everything! The property is both beautiful and well-maintained, and my container home was pristine. I travel often for work, and I've stayed in metro-area hotels that don't have half the amenities as Happy Goat Retreat - fantastic wifi (each unit has it's own!), electronic locks, Roku TV, killer AC unit, Alexa, toiletries, pool towels, a s'mores kit, firewood - they've thought of everything! Communication was incredibly responsive. Due to Hurricane Helene, I needed to extend my stay and they were able to work with me. Best of all, as a woman traveling alone, I felt very safe. Loved visiting with the goats and I'm looking forward to staying again in the spring when I return to the area. Thanks so much for a great week!

The staff was wonderful and the containers are well designed and decorated nicely. The grounds were clean and the grass was green. Happy goat retreat can also accommodate large family reunions and or just a group of your closest buddies. Enjoy your time looking at the stars and talking to your spouse friends or family around a fire.

This is the second year we've had a group of 20-25 friends & family meet here for a little reunion. We LOVE this place! The big house is super comfortable and has everything you need in the kitchen for big group meals, including good seating. The grounds are always very clean & nice and the property management team is friendly and helpful. The barn is a second option for big group get togethers. We also use the firepit and pool quite a bit. The little cabins are so cute! We'll be back for a 3rd reunion next year.

Quaint, quiet, and HUMID! We visited from California so the humidity was an intense shock- thankfully each unit had an AC unit. The rooms had everything you could need which was nice. The fridge in the common area was stocked with sodas and waters which our group really appreciated.
