Room and bathroom were very clean. Room was very specious. Front desk was very friendly. Parking was accessible and safe. Breakfast was warm with different options. Over all we like the hotel very much. We will definitely will stay again.š

Iāll be 80 in a few weeks. Just prior to my April 20, 2024 trip to TX I re-injured a torn leg ligament. I could not travel. Both Alaska Airlines and Super 8 Motels generously refunded my payments. Holiday Inn Express refused to consider my situation. It appears this company places a higher value on profit than providing compassionated customer service.

The facilities and staff were fine. The management / reservation system, not so much. We received a phone call the night before our arrival, telling (not asking) us that they overbooked the room type we had confirmed reservation for, and a different room type was assigned. We made it clear that we did not want to change. But was not offered an alternative or compensation. Be warned that they practice overbooking and would coerce you into accepting their solution without compensation.

From the moment we checked in until we checked out, we couldn't have had a better stay and although we only had planned on staying for on e night, we made it for two. Staff was great, especially Vanessa who seemed to know a lot about the area an d told us about places we would have never known about if not for her, like Cancon which was not far away. She also told us about Broadway 380 Pizza which was the best pizza we've had in Texas. The GM, a lady named Rosalinda was also very nice. Will definitely stay here again if in the area.

Good Clean room; the bathroom is mainly clean, but could stand some close sweeping around the door jamb and along the edges at the wall. The a/c works well; the room fridge is cool; the desk chair raises to a good height and has good arm rests. Not good This is the first hotel of any brand where I have seen the bathroom linens rack was mounted INSIDE the shower where they would get damp or wet from shower spray and splash. Of all the BRAIN DEAD things to do. The wall next to the shower has a useless picture hanging there. The bathroom linens rack should be there. The designer is an IDIOT. Why doesn't the ethernet socket work? The wiring is there and works off the same gateway. This is the first hotel I have experienced where the guest washer and dryer does not have coin slots. You have to scan a QR code and set an online payment with a credit card or Google Pay. This is ASININE.
