The room was so clean and the food and coffee were amazing! Being back home we miss being there it’s beautiful and we enjoyed it so much! Miss Angelique at the front desk was such a pleasure!! She is amazing and it’s so sweet how you can tell she really cares about others, she made our stay 10 times better! Thank you Angel and thanks Hampton Inn in The Colony we will be back!

First the good. This Hampton Inn is fairly new, the furniture and fixtures look great. The property is clean looking. There is a free EV charging station, which helped us as we had a Tesla Y. There were enough handicap parking that allowed me to use one of those spots. Now the bad, the service everyday and some of the settings in the room was not up the par. First, check-in, the worker was not able to find my reservation, when I showed him my reservation number on my cell phone, he yanked the phone out of my hands and since it was tethered to a lanyard around my neck, he esstantially pulled me forward, causing me to almost fall (handicapped person here). He didn't recognize us as Diamond members, and did not even let us know that there were no upgrades unless we asked. Did not offer use a drink choice or snack as indicated in the display at the check-in desk. The pool door did not work, even though I tried to get in at 8:55 am, worker told me to wait until the light turned green, which it never did. Pool towels were non-existent at that time. In the room, the sink water pressure was so high it caused water to splash everywhere, towel rack on shower door was loose, light fixture by the desk was out, and the worst was there was no electrical outlet by the bed. This caused me to use an extension cord from across the room, causing a tripping hazard for me on my walk to the bathroom. Possibly an ADA violation. I informed this on check-out and they told me that they would let the manager know. No honoring of the 100% guarantee, I guess it is maybe a 15% guarantee. I need to stay here again this week and am not looking forward to it.

Would have been a 10 if there was a micowave IN THE GUEST ROOM. Very inconvenient going downstairs every time to use microwave. I DID NOT check this out prior to booking my room because my previous stay last year was for 1-night and no microwave was needed.

Do not come here at all because everything is not in good standards and a lot of the hotel staff is not up to part and they need to fire some of the front desk staff and all of the house keeping because they don't know how to clean at all just nasty

This was one of the best Hamptons I have stayed at. I travel 15 to 20 weeks a year. It all started with Devonte, the manager, who took care of me having two packages shipped in for a business meeting. He and his team handled it flawlessly and made me feel welcome. Despite the fact they were quite busy he was able to find an upgrade for me because I was a diamond member. Every staff member I interacted with was professional, and seemed to care —- much better than many other hotels. Everyone seemed happy. The hotel is about two years old. Breakfast was fine, large exercise room, they were even carpet cleaning the entire property the week I was there. Room was clean and well appointed. This is the second time I’ve stayed at this property, and I definitely hope to be back next time I’m in the Dallas area .
