Fairfield Inn & Suites San Antonio Airport North Star Mall

The room was very standard but with everything in good shape. The bed was good, though four pillows instead of three would have been much better for each queen-sized bed. The bathroom was standard, yet clean. The toilet whistled while refilling, unfortunately. The breakfast area was cramped, with tight seating if a large group comes down together (like the construction crew did during our stay). The breakfast was slightly below average, with the scrambled eggs inexplicably sitting in a pool of water and waffles that lacked much flavor. The five-dollar parking charge is a mixed blessing. I hate paying a parking charge, but having the entry- and exit-gate arms probably deters interlopers.

This is the second time I stay at this hotel. Both times I have been impressed with the staff. They are friendly and super helpful. Additionally when I needed help with printing a company document, they didn’t complain or make me feel like it was a bother. Shout out to Mychal and Brianna for wonderful customer service.

We found this very nice Fairfield Inn, convenient to the airport. It is almost new, and seems very modern. There was almost no traffic noise, the beds were very comfortable. As with most Fairfield Inns, it offered a nutritious hot breakfast to start the day right.

Once again, my husband had his truck broken into in the parking lot of this hotel. Two times is the charm so definitely not staying at this location again. Front desk staff can't really help and honestly were not surprised. Such a hassle.....
