Tru by Hilton Lubbock Southwest

I have called the location several times to go over the fraudulent charges that have been charged to my card with no avail, management refuses to take or return my call. I'm going to take it up with corporate..............................

This hotel was a total disappointment. It is more or less “new” but it has not been kept up at all. Our room was worn with broken bed frames, broken light fixtures, broken clothes rack, water damage in the bathroom, mold in the shower, stained towels. Also the elevator handicap grab bars are broken. The pool pump reeks and drains sewage into the parking lot. This hotel doesn’t deserve to be under the Hilton umbrella. Plus the rooms are tiny! There is no way that I would recommend this hotel.

The location is great, staff friendly but I’m terribly disappointed with 2 out of 3 of my stays. I travel here from Dallas monthly for work. My last stay was bad the internet stopped working, this stay my blankets and sheets had hair all over them, this is gross. A waste of money, I will be booking at the Holiday Inn across the parking lot from here on out.

We feel price gouged 3 nights 770.32 for a double queen. Yes, it was during a December graduation, but we paid 5 star prices for a 3 star hotel. No amenities except a refrigerator, and a broken ironing board with iron. The rooms were clean, but they used a mattress pad as the blanket ( I was cold). The large towels were thin, No in room coffee or microwave. Ours was even missing the TV remote. The free breakfast was adequate. Staff were nice, but when we checked in, the gal at the counter was all pierced up with vampire teeth piercing. Not so family friendly. It took me 3 days to find the microwave at the breakfast bar. We have another graduation in 2 years and will be staying somewhere else.
