Absolutely the worst experience ever! My company travels every day and we book hotels via apps, Choice Hotel reservation system with out any problem. EVERYTIME we have booked at this Hotel ( our Diesel Tech picks up our trucks from there), we have problems. They do not accept our reservations, the clerk is just a kid with not clue of how to use the system, He calls the manager who obviously doesn't know, care or is too greedy and wants to make the extra money by booking us at a higher rate. Book-in takes 40 min instead of 10, reason we book a hotel online, to save time. So they make us rebook the hotel at WALK IN RATE and we are now paying for two rooms and have to do all the work of getting CHOICE Hotels Reservation system to cancel our reservation. CHOICE HOTEL RESERVATION SYSTEM - Your Franchises are misusing and giving your hotel system a BAD REPUTATION, HURTING YOUR BUSINESS. I WILL LOOK FOR OTHER BRANDS IN THE FUTURE. Okay it gets worse from there. The room they give me is supposed to be Non-Smoking, that room smelt like an ass tray. The smell was so bad and coming through the walls from other rooms. I thought I could get used to it and it only got worse. I thought of moving but I had all my bags unpacked and as I mentioned, my vehicle was taken to be repaired. I tried to go to sleep but the smell was worse than cigarettes, A deep RANK smell, like something had died in that room or some really stinky people had resided in that bed. It was HORRIBLE. So bad it kept me awake. I am not exaggerating in the least way. On top of that, you can hear every step from upstairs, stomping around, people going up and down the stairways all times of night. Then at 3am the people upstairs are fighting, slamming doors, cursing each other, I expected gunfire at any moment. If I had my truck, I would of left immediately. Also the management was so inept that I knew that they wouldn't do anything. Don't let the decent appearance, remodeled rooms fool you. It looks decent enough. I would not stay there unless you are a heavy smoker, like noise, bad service, and weed smoker, this is your hotel. My driver says he smokes cigars there because it masks the smell lol. Also this is another example of a Patel family hotel that puts greed over quality or service. Go to an American ran hotel and have a good night.

I checked in to my room, it hasn’t been cleaned and reeks of marijuana smoke. No big deal, go down to the front and get a new room. They give me the room right next to it, it’s clean but also reeks marijuana smoke, bad! 🤢🤮. I call the front desk, I tell the associate to come up and smell for himself. He come up and smells it right away as you see the look of disgust on his face. I ask him if he has a different room, he says that all the other rooms are reserved. I then ask if he could have housekeeping come mop with some pinesol or something to get rid of the smell. He offers to spray the room. WTF?? He comes back up with febreeze spray and sprays around the room and walks out and says have a nice day. Not one “sorry” during this whole ordeal. The staff here is obviously not trained in customer service issues. I’ll probably go down the street for night #2.

Cant relay how extremely pleased I was with this motel. Upon arrival Sam welcomed me and acknowledged me as a Diamond member. Was very accommodating when I asked for a smoking room, but the only ones available were on the 2nd floor. My reservation request ground floor because I didn't want to carry my luggage up 2 flights of stairs. Sam graciously carried my bags in for me. I was put in a room with 2 queen beds and a kitchen with full size fridge and stove top. This is very important when I am staying for 10 days and longer. Although the coffee maker is the single cup server management was not stingy with the coffee, as other places tend to be and supplied me with coffee as much as I needed. The bed was one of the few that I didn't wake and have a stiff back from, the sheets clean and crisp as was the duvet cover and pillows that were full, not flat. The down blanket was an added plus. The air conditioner, while difficult to figure out at first, worked magnificently in the 100+ degree heat. The large flat screen television worked perfectly with plenty of channels, but it is mounted on the wall so you can not swivel it to see when working at the desk or in the kitchen. As a single female traveler safety and security is very important. I always felt safe here, with adequately locking doors, well lit parking lot and no fear from 'less than desirable guests hanging around' that is typical in a lower cost motel. I was on the top floor and the ceilings are high. Because of this the shower head was difficult to reach (I am a bit on the shorter side at 5'2") and the range fan was unreachable unless I used a chair. Not a big problem, just adjusted the shower head the first time and I was fine. As someone mentioned there are no hangers but this is not a problem for me since I travel with my own. In the bathroom you start off with two small bars of soap and a small shampoo. No lotion or conditioner. The blow dryer worked well and the bathroom has a 'heat lamp/fan' as well as the mirror being surrounded with lighting. All the lights in the room had dimming switches, plenty of electrical and usb outlets as well. This is a new motel, about a year old. The only down sides of this motel was the fact that because of the pandemic the breakfasts were discontinued and they haven't replaced it with even a grab and go type muffin/yogurt/banana instead. Also, in a room that should accommodate up to 4 people you are only given 3 bath towels. Since I was the only one in the room it didn't matter, but it might for traveling couples. This is located close to all kinds of stores, restaurants, gas stations and Starbucks, with a CVS and and ALDI's sharing the same drive. Work has me returning in 5 days to the Houston area and I have already reserved my next 10 day stay here.

There is a clothing rod and not one hanger. I asked the clerk, who I am not sure was not a robot, and she affirmed they do not provide hangers. They do have an iron and a board to iron out the wrinkles that come from not being able to hang clothes. Amenities were basic, as you would expect at this price point; one small shampoo, two bars of soap and two packets of coffee. No tea, creamer, lotion. Bed was comfortable and the room reasonably clean. I think the floor Could have used a once over with a dust mop. The people overhead were Noisy but they either quieted down early or my White Noise app did its job. The AC worked well and was quiet. No food was provided due to Covid. If Covid is a concern, Why didn’t the clerk wear a mask?
