We have been going to Fredericksburg 2 to 3 times a year for the last 25 years. I canāt believe we didnāt know about place! We stayed at the Zug cabin and it was wonderful. It was super clean and so nicely decorated. The bed was comfy and the jacuzzi tub was so relaxing after walking around town all day. There are many other cabins on the property but it still felt very private. We will definitely be back!

Barons Creekside is a gem - a small taste of Switzerland in Texas Hill Country. The grounds are lovely and each cabin is unique. The property is well laid out and very easy to find your way around. We enjoyed the creek and ducks and were often visited by Jazzy the cat. Our cabin was spotless and the amenities were plentiful - so cute. The owners thought of everything! Enjoyed some serious porch time with music from The Club before we strolled over for dinner. It is a quick drive into Fredericksburg and also convenient to other attractions in the area. We loved our stay and it was perfect in every aspect. Will definitely stay here if we are ever in the area again.

The 5 star reviews are legit. This place is special. I agree with all the wonderful experiences people have here. Authentic cabins lovingly constructed from a 250 year old Swiss farmhouse. Each one with charming old school touches paired with luxurious bedding, nice dishes glassware (no plastic) flat screen TV with easy remote. I made a fire, listening to music. Outside the twinkling of fairy lights in the dozens of redbud trees lining the bubbling creek made a beautiful backdrop to a lovely evening. Charming magical and romantic, Barons Creekside Cabins is 5 star worthy.

Nice collection of cottages and a big lodge that was the original building. Lodge was very clean and spacious. Coffee pot and powdered creme. Comfy bed. My service dog was welcome as well as at the Cafe. Great Roma band on Saturday night. Gumbo was delicious. Wine was good but pricey. Owners clearly enjoy their guests, nice to see them greeting guests at cafe.

Barons Creekside if your looking for something unique and special Barons Creekside is it. They have a two bedroom home that was moved to the property from the town that we stayed in with another couple which was very roomy and nice. They also have other options of log cabins and even a covered wagon. One mile from downtown Fredericksburg. Check it out.
