La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Fairfield TX

Worst lodging experience we've ever had. Tv did not work properly, rat droppings and rat trap in closet, light fixture hanging loose from ceiling, electric receptacles on one side worked intermittently, faucet fixture in kitchenette was unattached and would raise up when you tried to use it, no plug in bath lavatory, door broken off of AC control panel, toilet seat wrong size and poorly installed, food quality quality/quantity poor, ran out of coffee cups at breakfast. Never again.

I was having work done at my house I live in the area and they were the only pet friendly hotel in the town

Clean, Secure, Quiet, Comfortable, and Friendly. The breakfast is better than the other hotel choices but still a bit lacking for a worker who needs to get up and eat at 6:00am. Eggs, meat, waffles, cereal, toast, yogurt, fruit, juice, coffee, starting at 6:30am. Competitive price and less than some others. No issues.

Convenient place to stay, however I'd choose another hotel in the area because this one is dated and it's like no one cares.

The hotel was easy to find and the check in process went without a hitch. The room was cool and the a/c worked fine as the weather was somewhat hot. One problem I found was that the restroom door in 214 did not close or lock, it remain ajar as much as we tried to close it completely. The breakfast was somewhat selective, no hot oatmeal with only individual packets and cold milk, no microwave. The menu was the same for the 4 days that we were there. The breakfast area is manned by the front desk staff so there were other things missing. By the way, they kept $100 deposit and I am still waiting for my receipt as I was informed that it would be sent via e-mail.
