I have stayed here several times over the years. Unfortunately now, the hotel needs a Marriott renovation in the rooms. Cleanliness and overall service are just fine. As a Marriott Titanium level member, I get my free water bottles when needed. And breakfast buffet is decent, with lots of choices. But the rooms need to be updated. The treadmills appear to have been updated, but I couldn't get the TVs on them to work. Other equipment in the fitness room is badly out dated, but very limited size, especially with so many military personnel staying here. (Thank you for your service!) I found issues with the bathrooms still using shower curtains. Need to be modernized, and throw the curtains away. Towels are not fluffy enough, nor are rooms serviced daily. But if you need more towels, it's no problem asking for more. The furniture is dated. But the biggest issue is the beds. They are older and not comfortable at all. The bed pillows are really in need of upgrade! Structurally, you can't change the fact that half of the rooms face I-10 and are subject to higher outside noise levels. I hope that by the time I return next year, there will be newly renovated rooms.

What would you do if you’re me? I’ve booked a standard room with 2 queen beds and sofa bed. When I show up to check in, they did not mention to me that they’re out of room and they decided to put me in a handicapped room, this is the whole reason why we picked this hotel since it showed online that it is a standard room. We requested to switch but they said it is their only room left. They refused to do refund and basically told us this is the room they have whether we like it or not..fortunately hotels.com agent was able to help me credit the balance within the app. I hope this review reaches the person in charge, but it is because of this situation caused a big fight between me and my husband and ended my birthday miserably! (The reason my husband doesn’t like to stay in handicapped room because it’s reminded him of hospital & we’re hoping to stay in a nice hotel to celebrate my birthday)

The check in at the property was smooth. The studio room size was quite good. The two queen beds were comfortable. The sofa and the small kitchenette were quite useful. The location being close to the I-10 is a big plus. There is sufficient parking space. Overall, a good stay.

For 10 years we stayed at this hotel when visiting family, but it is now a National Guard barracks with a few rooms sold to civilian guests. It is now filthy and loud. We felt like we were sleeping on the freeway (the non-freeway side rooms were taken). The front desk people can't be bothered to help you, check you in or out, or even bother to dress somewhat appropriately. The floor of our room was filthy and ruined our white socks. The stairs and hallways looked as if they had not been vacuumed in months, and the parking lot had so much trash and beer bottles (very dangerous), it was like a dump. No exaggeration. The only good was the breakfast. The 1 woman working it seemed to be the only one who actually did their job at the hotel. Don't stay here, even if you are using points or get it for free. You won't sleep and it's disgusting. It's too bad because it used to be a nice hotel. We stayed here in Oct 2021 when it was being used as a barracks and we just thought it was an unusual occurrence. Apparently this is permanent.

Nowhere do they mention they charge $10 a night for parking. Outrageous since the hotel is far from the airport and you park yourself on a large outdoor lot. Plus this springhill suites is not laid out as others. There's only one sink and the rooms are not as large. In addition, they didn't know how to give you a digital key. The hotel sends a reminder to check in and claim your digital key but the receptionist said we were "eligible" for a digital key. Didn't know what they were doing. I would not recommend.
