Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham College Station

Our time here at Hawthorne was nothing short of amazing . The staff and amenities were superb. The rooms were clean , the access and location was prime , and the staff was friendly, accommodating and took care of us ! When in the area , we will definitely return .

They just finished renovations on this hotels 3 rd floor and it was nice but you could smell the new carpet, paint etc. Due to our allergies, we requested another room on another floor and they worked hard and gave us another room. De’Anthony and Emile are phenomenal employees and went above and beyond to help us out! They are the best employees without a doubt and need recognition for their expertise and exemplary help .

good place to stay and convenient; stayed here to attend an Aggie game; dining places were super close; hotel staff was very friendly and helpful; breakfast food was really good; we will be staying here again in the near future while attending games

We stayed here while one of our little dogs was at the A&M Animal Hospital Energency down the street. We hadn't known we were going to be staying overnight in CS, much less two nights and needed a pet-friendly place because we had our other little dog with us (one-time pet fee of $34). All of the hotel staff were super accomodating and so sweet. The free breakfast was a REAL HOT BREAKFAST (scrambled eggs, waffles, cheese potatoes, yogurt, coffee, juice, sausage, BACON, bagels, muffins, fruit, etc!) and was extemely tasty! The beds were fantastic and the rooms were super clean. Even though the 3rd floor was "under construction", we weren't bothered at all and the outside premises were clean and very well-kept, the grass was beautiful! We were under a lot of stress when we checked in and Kathleen was an absolute ANGEL to us. Her mission was to make sure we had everything we needed and that our stay was enjoyable. Can't say enough good about this sweet, young lady! ❤️ She even gave me some coupons for free appetizers at Texas Roadhouse! YUM! When we got news we had to stay another night, Brandy got us fixed up easily with the same room rate. We appreciated the no-stress of our entire stay and that allowed us to re-coup a bit before heading home with our injured, but healing pup. If we ever need to come bsck through CS, THIS WILL be our place to stay! Kudos to all!

After reading so many online reviews from different properties in the B/CS area, I had narrowed my choice down to 2...this one, and another. Both offered almost the exact same options, but the main one we needed was a PET Friendly facility...which BOTH advertised. I ALMOST booked the other hotel online, as it was closer to my daughter's home, but, decided to CALL and ask questions first. I am soo thankful I did, because when I mentioned reading online that they were pet friendly, (by the way, the other property's employee would have been rated maybe a "2") he told me no, they don't allow pets unless they are SERVICE dogs. I again mentioned that their advertising online clearly indicates that they are a pet friendly hotel, but he repeated himself with what he had previously mentioned. I thanked him for his time, and immediately called Hawthron Suites. From the moment the front desk clerk answered the phone, I KNEW this was THE PLACE for us! I encountered such a positive, energetic, and super cheerful vibe, AND they REALLY ARE PET FRIENDLY!
