La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Smyrna TN Nashville

Very Clean place. Beds and pillows comfortable. Shower worked well. Great night sleep. Breakfast was biscuits and gravy, eggs sausage, cereal, toast, waffles. Juice, yogurt, milk. Gravy looked a bit unappealing. Check in and out was easy.

Check in was very unwelcoming, as if we were bothering staff member working at front desk. Got to room and deadbolt for door didn’t work, doesn’t line up with slot in door frame. Beds may as well have been made of concrete they were so hard.. Then to top it off, when packing up, (see pictures) find bugs crawling around nightstand and near fridge.

There was no one at the check in desk when I arrived and had to wait a few minutes to be helped. It was the least friendly check in experience I have ever had. The desk staff was effective, but not welcoming at check in or check out, but more so at check in. The lady taking care of the breakfast was friendly though, and the food was very good. I especially appreciated the fruit and whipped cream. I think one more waffle maker would be helpful though, especially when there are large crowds. There was some traffic and neighbors noise in our room, but not too bad. Overall the hotel was clean and the food good, so I would recommend it, as long as you don't mind feeling unwelcome.

Room was great but highway traffic noise was extreme. Just need to remember to get a room on the back side of the building next stay, haha. Receptionist Joanna at check in last night was awesome! Very professional, highly knowledgeable and extremely courteous! She was a big help to me and is an asset to the La Quinta team!

Very nice hotel, nice services, very comfortable and clean rooms. friendly staff, best breakfast, very convenient, best pillows and beds, new looks, fast check-inn and check-out, convenient parking, got more than what I paid for. I will go again and again to stay in this hotel whenever I will go to Nashville area.
