Staying here as I write this. At best this is a 3-star experience. That said, the towels would barely make it at a motel-6; thin and rough. Loud music in the atriums is non-stop until 9:00 (so I am told) so if that is not your thing, think again. My room faces the atrium so no escaping the sound. It’s rather like a casino with no slots. Have dined at the sports bar and the Italian. Both OK. Hilariously, they wanted my e-mail, phone and credit card to make a reservation at the Italian restaurant INSIDE the hotel I’m already staying at. Weird. I’m in Cascades section, room is tired and needs updating. I have employees staying in Magnolia and Delta; they say their rooms are tired also. It’s far from what I had hoped. Quite a few friendly staff though; that has been the best thing.

Stayed at several Gaylord resorts for work and personal over last 20 or so years first time ever coming to nashviole. Booked this for anniversary and to use waterpark and pool (84 degrees today in Nashville) …no notice neither open ! $1300+ for 3 nights plus valet etc …doubt if I will be back. Would be nice if marriot convoy and the website itself for Gaylord would have said this. Stayed at a doubletree last week in Ontario ca for work …it outranked this by a great margin with a beautiful outdoor pool at less than 1/2 the cost …in California ! Glad the duck is enjoying the pool

My wife and I recently completed another fabulous stay at the Gaylord Opryland Resort. This trip we were celebrating my wife’s birthday. Thanks to Lori at the front desk for assigning us a beautiful high floor interior atrium view room. The resort is beautiful. We absolutely enjoyed the interior atriums, waterfalls, trees, and flowers. Our room was fabulous with a comfortable bed and great atrium view. The room looked recently updated. Also, several new upgrades in progress to enhance the Resort even further. Thank you to the whole staff for all the help during tornado warnings. They helped everyone move to safe places in the Resort and provided chairs and water to guests. Greatly appreciated. Also, a big Shout-Out to the team at the Jack Daniels Restaurant . Really good food and service…especially servers John and Meena. They treated us royally when we dined there on 2 separate evenings. We are looking forward to our next visit to the Gaylord Opryland Resort.

This place is absolutely beautiful and a must see during the holidays! I have been here 3 times and each time the experience was fabulous. I highly recommend and it's also great with kids! The restaurants onsite are great as well and the service is exceptional.

Was here for a cheer competition and they were not prepared at all.. restaurants with 2 hour lines.. rude staff.. 2 out of 3 Uber pick up spots closed with not one one hotel staff that was directing anyone (they were using local police who even said that directing traffic was not their job and that they were frustrated) One up and Varsity should pick another venue in Nashville.. this place made a ton of money and offered nothing in return .. Oh yea.. no security at all.. which should rule this place out forever.. Disney and Atlanta have metal detectors and monitor creeps and people that could creeping around underage girls.. not Gaylord.. all about the money .. no safety for thousands of minors ..
