Extended Stay America Suites Knoxville West Hills

Don't believe the good reviews you see. This hotel was absolutely disgusting. It looks like it's hardly ever cleaned. the bed was SO uncomfortable. there were people hanging outside all hours of the night. See pictures for reference. Never again!

Worst hotel ever. Floors were filthy. Mold in the bathroom. "Breakfast" consisted of a single type of coffee and tiny packaged muffins. On two mornings of the four that I was there, I had to ask if someone could bring a full pot. The second morning it took 20 minutes because the girl getting it was chatting with a guy from housekeeping. There is also supposedly oatmeal available. Not once during my stay. Wanted to do some laundry before departure. I was told by the girl at the desk (when I got her to look up from her phone) that they didn't have laundry detergent because "most people bring their own." I said that the signage in their laundry said that laundry products were available at the front desk. She finally checked with housekeeping and told me that they were out because the order had not come in. Never again.

This property is not what we expected because we have stayed at other Extended Stays before that are great. Upon check in I asked about how to get our luggage and belongings to the room. The property has stairs between first and second floor in reception area. You have to climb these stairs if you want to go to third floor or down to first floor to bring your belongs in. For someone who travels about we have a large amount of items. This takes many trips up and down stairs to bring inside. This is NOT an ADA compliant property or is it noted as such on their website. That you need to climb stairs to access your room. I called out the desk person on this. So if you cant climb stairs you are out of luck. Our room did not have the dishes so we had to ask for them. We also asked for the other kitchen supplies and said all the other residents have them! What? I pay good money as others and you dont have that for me? Very wrong!! We chose to stay here because we can cook. We arrive and they have nothing. The door jamb is almost off the frame. Hardly a secure room. Dont stay here- other properties are available.

I had a very pleasant stay there to be honest it is what it is. It’s what you pay for and I was happy to have a full kitchen and a comfortable bed. Really the only downside was there was a roach issue a few times in the bathroom only but I’m from Florida so it didn’t really bother me that much, but it was an issue to be honest I would go back. I enjoyed my stay minus the roaches.

We stayed for a weekend at Extended Stay. Shay and Patricia were so nice and helpful. Very accommodating staff! The room was spacious, bed was comfortable. Could use an extra heavy blanket but that is customer preference. Room was clean. Older hotel with musty smells but when you travel you are used to that. Would recommend.
