This hotel is 20 minutes south of Nashville in historic Franklin, TN. It offers a free shuttle to locations within a 5 mi radius of hotel. The Embassy Suites by Hilton Nashville South/Cool Springs features an indoor swimming pool, sauna and whirlpool. There is a fitness center and a business center for guests to use. Helpful amenities include laundry, dry cleaning, and an on-site ATM. All guest suites have a dining area and a seating area with a sofa bed. The rooms come furnished with a microwave and refrigerator. WiFi is available for a surcharge. A full, made-to-order breakfast is served every morning at the Cool Springs Embassy Suites. An on-site restaurant, the Athletic Bar & Grill, is open for lunch and dinner. Room service is available. I have attended conference events here for the last 3 years and my employer always makes us book rooms here to help the conference promoters fulfill their room block commitment. I seriously dislike this hotel and if I had a choice, would never stay here. I am not a fan of the Embassy Suite concept anyway, but this particular one has the most beat-up, outdated and run down rooms in the area. For the price of over $200 a night it is ridiculous. Dark, 1990's decor with bad repairs and damage everywhere in the rooms. Dirty vents full of dust. Mirrors and lighting covered in dust. The wash basin in my suites bathroom was full of cracks. The base of the toilet had fresh gooey stains and hair everywhere (zoom in on the photo). Inches of caulking everywhere used to fill damage. Broken tile and trim everywhere. They installed annoyingly bright "daylight" compact flourescent bulbs in the light fixtures that put off an extremely white light (probably to off set the dark decor). The towel on the floor is to fill the large gap under the door due to noise from the lobby. The flip security device on the interior of the room for the door was extremely loose and hanging at an angle off the door frame like someone had tried to break in the door while it was engaged. The large men's room across from the conference rooms had ONE soap dispenser out of 5 that had soap and actually worked over the three days of our event with over 200 people in attendance. This same men's room has had the overwhelming strong smell of old urine for 3 years now! There are so many newer and cheaper alternatives near this location within a few miles. Free drinks at night and custom prepared omelettes for breakfast are not enough to make me stay here.

We’ve hosted our Military conference here multiple times over the past few years. Never have they charged for PARKING. Absolutely ridiculous. $30 for 2 nights. Soldiers had to jump through hoops to get a copy or a receipt for their DTS. We will be looking elsewhere to host.

Wonderful!!! The best we've found in Franklin,TN for the price. The staff is always helpful and friendly. Rooms are always clean and have great products in the bathroom to use. Beds are very comfortable. Pillows are as well. Great area of city.

I was waiting to receive a survey from the hotel to address this but its been a month now so instead i'll just do a review on here. My husband and I are diamond members. We normally have pleasant stays, nothing crazy. We are extremely low maintenance and easy to please guests. (I've never left an unfavorable review before). This stay I was by myself without my husband while on a business trip. I used some of our available points to pay for the room. Upon arrival there was a man and a woman at the front desk. The female wouldn't even acknowledge me standing there. The male finally did. Zero personality, not a drop of friendliness. No "thanks for being a diamond member" which I don't care about but i'm just painting the picture. This man didn't speak another word to me aside from asking for my card for incidentals. He never spoke to me what my room number was, didn't tell me about breakfast, no internet information or telling me about the evening reception. I was never even offered a bottle of water or a single benefit I normally get for being the diamond member. Went I went up to the room I walked in and was hit with a scent of cat pee. I went back down to the desk to ask for a different room because of the smell. I got met with an eye roll, not a single question or word was spoken, no apology, just another card pouch handed to me for me to figure out the new room number on my own. The second room was fine, no problems. I went to the guest reception that evening after asking a couple people if they knew where it was held. The bar tender was very pleasant and that was a good experience. Breakfast the next morning was good, omelet guy was very nice and made a delicious omelet. This facility left a bad taste in my mouth just because of the rude and careless font desk guy I was initially met with. Aside from that every thing was status quo.

Plenty of parking. Erin was my reservation contact and was very professional and courteous. She explained my conference event and took care of my parking. The room was on 8th floor. Very nice suite with a seperate sleeping room. Clean and smelled fresh. Work area, microwave and mini fridge. I would highly recommend for work and personal travel.
