The rooms were clean however the hot water was not working it was worth the money but the bread was not complimentary and it only serves waffles also it could have been better as far as the pool cause we were only there 1 day and then the 2 day the pool was closed so we had to go next door to swim and we couldn't take a shower had to wash up in sink due to it being no hot water

This was a horrible experience. The front desk clerk wasnt there at check in, and my son and I were forced to wait for almost 20 minutes at 11pm at night. He had a bad attitude. The next morning, my son and ai were rudely awoken around 8 by someone trying to repeatedly enter the room and knocking over and over. I'm grateful we locked the latch, otherwise she would've gotten in. I opened the door to see the front desk CLERK standing there and asked if I could help her. She yelled at me saying we didn't have a reservation and we weren't supposed to be there. I explained we did and checked in around 11:30 the night before. She stormed off angrily.

Mold on curtains, stains and mold on beds, elevator broken, no ice machine except the one destroyed pictured, paint falling off walls in the bathroom ,AC broken with mold and dust all over it. Hotel hasn't been remodeled since the 1900s. When we asked hotel staff about the sign on the elevator they stated that was to give the elevator a break to motivate the guests to use the stairs more. Remind u the out of order sign was posted on the top floor elevator but not on the 1st floor. The shower to rinse your feet off of when returning from the beach was broken. People from the 2nd floor hollered at us to rinse our feet off into the pool. The outside of the hotel smelled of nothing but marijuana. Left after an hour of arrival!

The biggest issue with this hotel is the mold there was mold on the ceiling there was mold on the curtains. I would not stay there again. The paint was peeling off the walls in the bathroom very unpleasant feeling. I would not recommend anyone to stay there.

My wife and I wanted to stay in myrtle beach for one more night celebrating our 39th anniversary. The resort we were at had no availability so we found Days Inn huge mistake. We booked on Expedia our reservation was for that Friday night but we decided to check out the room first. The internet made the hotel look amazing when in reality the only true representation of the facility was the one picture of the room but even the pic of the room was miss leading. And as I went back to the office I overheard a conversation between the attendant and one of the customers wanting an adjustment for roaches that seemed to be everywhere. I then tried to cancel they told me I was too late to get a refund. What they did with their website was a false representation of the property and I truly believe that is still illegal, I feel I should receive a full refund without any penalties as a result of their dishonesty and the fact I have already spent 3 hrs trying to get a refund. They told me they would review my request and I would receive an answer as to weather they would give a refund or not or it there would be penalties to pay for cancelling the day before our arrival. I’m sorry but again I feel because they were dishonest with their website and the fact that is illegal I should receive a full refund. Expedia say Days Inn had to approve….Days Inn say Expedia had to approve. Do yourself a favor avoid the same mistake I made, do not visit that Days Inn or Expedia. Again I spent3 hrs trying to fix this mess and still haven’t got it fixed yet
