Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort

Our overall stay was great. The staff serving the pool areas were extremely friendly especially Kenney. She went out of her way to say hello whenever she saw us. The restaurants in the area are fantastic. The food was exceptional my only complaint was there are not as many vegitarian and salad options. We had a Junior Suite. It was very spacious, clean and we had a great view of the pool and ocean. The grounds of the Omni are spacious and there are many areas to sit and have coffee in the morning. The adult pool was a plus. Kids are great but it was nice to have an option of a pool that allowed 18 years and older. The beach is beautiful. There are stretches of beach where the sand is hard. It was great for running, walking and bike riding. Prior to us arriving, the concierge recommended that we rent a car in order to get around the island and I have to say it was great advice. We flew into Savannah and it was about an 1.25 hours to the hotel. Next time I hope to fly directly into Hilton Head. We cannot wait to return next year. Omni was a great choice. Thank you:)

Our family had an incredible stay at the Omni HH! The facility, proximity to the beach, and amenities are just a few of the many reasons we go every year for spring break. The weather in April is perfect. The facility is very family friendly, and there are a lot of great things to do with kids in the immediate area. The resort offers free shuttles within 1.5 miles (each way) so it's really easy to get around without a car.

When I took my weekend getaway with my kids, I had a resort-like feeling in mind. Island Omni has a good reputation, but the prices were higher than I expected, especially compared to my previous stay at the Marriott. To be honest, the Marriott was a better experience. Island Omni had a strong odor of sewage throughout the premises. The food was also overpriced. We were charged for a movie we never rented because we spent most of our time walking in the park or at the beach. We decided to spend the entire weekend in our room by the pool, but there wasn’t much to do around it. The people who were using the fire never left the pits so my kids only watch from afar and it not a pleasant experience. The overall atmosphere in the area was also bothersome, so many adults at the kids pool. It didn’t feel like a luxurious experience, which I had imagined. The smell of sewage lingered throughout the place, which was unacceptable. The room was only clean once during our stay. The only positive aspects of our stay were that my little puppy had treats, and we had two bottles of water when we arrived. Other than that, there was nothing good to say. The experience was uncertain, so I won’t be staying at this place again.

We recently stayed at the Omni. Check in was very good, the door man was very friendly and helpful. Our room was a nice size as was the bathroom. We had no issues with housekeeping …our room was cleaned promptly. The pool area was very nice …I did appreciate the adult pool .. I was a bit disappointed we had to go to the outside bar to get a drink and food …as no one was available at the adult pool to take an order. We had the strawberry daiquiris …and they were very good. We did go to the restaurant/bar on site ….and the food was just ok … The beach is wonderful and we did enjoy the location of the Omni and walked the beach every morning …and it was fantastic. Overall this is a very nice hotel.

I love the Omni! It was my fourth stay in 6 years. I went with my daughter, her husband, and three little boys. We rented bikes, took the free shuttle to dinner in the shelter Cove area at night. We loved swimming in the pool, we love the beautiful beach, and the staff is so wonderful. We loved the marketplace Café, the beautiful grounds, including the azalea’s in full bloom. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else!
