I went to check in at 1500 and the "computer system" was out. I came back in an hour and the system was still out, but was assigned a room. I unpacked my overnight bag and a knock to the door said that I had to move to another room. That I could get over, but the other room smelled, and the floor was really dirty. (the A/C did work well) The door was broken, but the night latch did work. I only killed one cockroach. They made a special point that I was only going to be charged the room rate that I had booked through Choice. No, I shall not stay here again. I have to ask, "What is with Choice hotels in this area?"

Disappointing room! Amenities listed on website but not in room: coffee maker, hairdryer, phone (to communicate with office), clock. Also no breakfast was available, microwave was damaged, manager said they aren't providing coffee makers and hotel being renovated so no breakfast. Avoid for now!

Soooo.I'm still in the process of getting this in order and talking with legal advice about it also. I went to this dump of a place and to make a long story short, during the time that the female employee had access to my card, a $99 Xbox online bill was charged. I don't even own an xbox nor do I plan on getting one. Crooks and thugs as employees. From what I saw while figuring out these charges, cause I didn't stay, I saw plenty of prostitutes around and trust me I know an unsafe environment when I see it. A $99 Xbox charge? Seriously?

I am doing a travel nursing assignment and this was the best meeting point to spend time with my family for the Memorial weekend holiday. I called customer service to find out if they would allow my son and my husband to check into the room because I would be at least an hour and a half late due to me just getting off from work. Customer service confirmed it was fine, but when they got there, the owner had his own plans and after 15 minutes of getting very upset, they finally allowed them to check in. When I arrived, the hotel is under construction, inn which is NOT mentioned online prior to the reservation. This hotel looked like a site to dump bodies. No lock for the top of the door, the tub would drain, fruit flies by the bathroom sink and a shower curtain that looked like poop or dried blood was on it. The room beside me had individuals that were smoking marijuana and the smell came into my room. I've stayed and been a member of choice hotels since 2007. This by far, was the worst. We would've checked out, but memorial weekend made it hard to find a hotel with availability. These independently owned hotels do not practice the choice privileges way AT ALL. The only nice thing about this property was an older lady at the desk when I checked in. Other than... HORRIBLE
