Crowne Plaza Providence Warwick Airport an IHG Hotel

I've stayed at the Crowne Plaza three times between June and Oct for business, but in June, my wife and son traveled with me for a mini vacation. I have to say that all three stays were very consistent in quality, with friendly service, clean and comfortable rooms, and inviting and comfortable common areas. Housekeeping was performed when requested, and while my family was with me, housekeeping was done before they returned from sightseeing in the afternoon. Also, while my family was with me, they accommodated us with early check-in so we could drop our bags and head out early for the day. The restaurant was pretty typical for a hotel restaurant, the food and service were good and the drink selection was ok, however the menu selection was smaller and drink prices were higher than dining out at a comparable restaurant like Chili's or Longhorn. Breakfast is not free unless you're Diamond status on the IHG app, which I am, so we had breakfast there every day. They offer both off the menu ordering or breakfast buffet, and we had both, and the food was good. On my last stay in Oct, my flight home was canceled, and I had to return to the hotel for one extra night and go back to the airport the next morning. I had to use their airport shuttle service for both trips, and that could not have been any easier or more professional! Overall, all three of my stays were very, very good. I had no issues with service or room quality. I will definitely stay here again.

Nice quiet hotel in a safe area near the airport. Friendly staff. Large rooms . Room A/C a bit on the noisy side but otherwise fine. Lounge seems to close early. All in all a pretty decent hotel out by the airport for a reasonable price. Would stay there again.

We attended a convention here. The staff were super nice, the rooms are just what a traveler would want, large bed, desk, chairs, safe, etc. The hotel is pretty well spread out, no problems getting in your 10000 steps. The convention rooms were spaceous and well decorated.

Having a 6 am flight the next morning, my daughter and I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Providence-Warwick hotel the night before. Before we even made it to the front desk to check in we were warmly greeted by John at the desk who informed us of the amenities available to us for our short stay. The room was large, clean, and well-appointed. My daughter had to was taking an online college class and the wifi met her needs. In the morning we were able to take advantage of the free shuttle to the airport and our driver couldn't have been nicer (at 5:30 AM!). Overall, great hotel, great service.

DO NOT STAY HERE. I have never experienced a more mismanaged hotel. Starting with the fact that the housekeeping seemed to hang out in front of the same room for the entire time (5 days) we were here. We added a day and Expedia told us just to make a new reservation for the new day - and for some reason- after 4 days of being there- the front desk decided they needed my id for anything my husband needed. He had to wake me up at 10 pm to go down and give them my id to get an extra room key. I told them this was ridiculous and I would like to speak to a manager. NO MANAGER was on site. 45 minutes later the front desk sent security up to have us leave . It was unbelievable. My husband explained the situation and the security guy was incredulous. Luckily we didn’t get thrown out because we were just asleep. I am a random normal 49 year old woman. The situation was unbelievable.
