Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Lancaster

Hawthorne never disappoints. The staff is friendly from check in to check out. The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. I have stayed here for a conference prior to this visit and chose to stay here with my family on this visit. My family was very impressed with our stay and even more surprised at how reasonable the cost was.

Everything was clean and in very good condition. Warm room, excellent bathroom accommodation and a comfortable bed and new sofa that also came in handy. Breakfast provided a different hot offering each day (freshly made pancakes, corned beed hash, minced meat and gravy, scrambled eggs) and was very tasty - as was the coffee and pastries. Friendly staff and everything from the door locks to the fridge, microwave, TV and HVAC all worked perfectly. Located at the very beginning of the route 30 retail strip with everything that Lancaster has to offer! This is not the first time we have stayed here and it will not be the last.

Clean. Handicap room that was actually suited for a handicap person. The cleaning staff, desk attendant, and morning manager returned my wife’s wedding rings that she left behind accidentally!! They easily could have pocketed the rings but they were honest! So thankful!

I really liked this place. It was clean and festive looking. There was a tree in the lobby in fall colors surrounded by fall decorations. I really liked that they didn't push into Christmas. I liked everything about my bed but it was a bit high. My 89 year old aunt needed assistance getting into it. Fortunately, Jeremiah was able to find a portable stepper. Iur Sunday breakfast was much more than coffee, cereal and bread stuffs. Myself, and many children, were fascinated by the pancake maker. I will come here again when in the area.

The good: squeaky clean throughout the property. Comfortable bed. Generously sized room and breakfast area. Nicely equipped fitness room. Very well maintained furnishings. The bad: my wife hated her pillow. The shower head was cheap and restricted the water flow too much. The desk clerk said they were full up and could not accommodate us with two beds when it did not seem that busy. The breakfast offerings were just okay. And finally, maybe it's inflation, but the room did seem pricey for what you got.
