La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Lancaster

Very welcoming staff in an attractive facility. Easy access to restaurants and attractions. Our room was very clean, housekeeping did an admirable job. We slept very well. The water here is very soft - I couldn't rinse all the soap off in the shower though I spent extra time trying, but local water quality is no doubt out of the hotel's control. Would stay here again.

We were four adults and the room was large, clean and very nice! Beds were comfortable and the pillows were plentiful and soft but firm! Loved the walk in shower, but a hand held shower head would have been nice! An extra chair would have been nice, too! Overall, we would love to stay here again for the cleanliness, staff and location! 😍

Very friendly and helpful staff with no exceptions. Room was nice and clean. One small issue was resolved immediately. I was surprised there was no room service, but did notice a sign at the front desk when we were leaving,saying there would only be room service on the third day of extended visits. We stayed 4 days, but it never occurred. We were fine.The dogs were welcome ( we had 2). There was a good area for dogs behind the hotel where poop bags were available and a trash receptacle. It cost $50 extra total for 2 dogs for 4 nights. Breakfast included hot food including scrambled eggs, hash, or creamed chip beef. Plus breads pastries cereal, etc. There was canned fruit, but no fresh fruit. I would stay there again.

We came to the hotel, expecting to have a 2 queen beds, mobility accessible room for my mother that was just in the hospital for a week for falling. upon checking in, nothing was said about the room. just the normal process was provided. I went back out to the car to unpack and went to the room. The room was as big as the bathroom, nothing about the room was "handicap accessible", and it could hardly fit my mom's mobility scooter by the door to charge it. I was very unhappy and called the front desk. The lady advised me that the room was on set up for a 2-queen regular room, and nothing else. I walked to the front desk and showed her my confirmation email that was for the mobility room. Apparently, the room was switched due to the original room was having plumbing issues. There was no phone call, no email, nothing to let me know that this was happening. They said that the note was made "earlier" that day, and they didn't know why no one let me know. If they would have called me before arriving to the hotel, I would have been able to change hotels, and not have to cancel our stay with LaQuinta, and scramble to find another hotel at 8pm, with a cheer competition happening at the convention center. I was very dissatisfied with the way this whole situation was handled, and it put a sour taste in my mouth. I will not be staying with LaQuinta again, in any city.

The staff upon arriving was friendly and informative of the hotel facilities. The room was clean and the cleaning staff and kitchen staff were friendly and courteous when item(s) were requested. We enjoyed our stay here at LaQuinta Lancaster. PA
