Great value! We stayed 3 nights at this motel and it was a quiet and very comfortable stay. The beds are very comfortable, and there are plenty of pillows. It is a very quiet motel and the owners are very friendly. My room was exceptionally clean with ample amount of towels and toiletries. The lovely hotel staff cleaned our room daily, which is a rarity right now with hotels. They kept the coffee well stocked for the in room coffee. I would stay there again without hesitation.

The motel is just an old motel. It shows it wear. Very worn. It seems to be run by a couple so the office is not always occupied. It was locked when we arrived. There was a sign on the door and they did return when the sign said. Preston is not really a town. There is nothing in Preston. I would continue on next time.

Our room comfortably kept us for two nights. Everything worked, though the heater came on every 5 minutes for about 2 minutes. Also, it was inconvenient to use the microwave when the tv had to be unplugged, which I learned the hard way took about 20 minutes to come back on due to diagnostics, resetting the signal, etc. One night, several neighbors stayed up all night talking outside. Otherwise the motel suited us well and we would stay again for the price.

We read reviews of the Plaza Motel in Preston and decided to give it a try. Some of the reviews were critical but we found the place clean, small bathroom I'll admit, but friendly staff and quite frankly the little town was a nice visit. Our room on the ground floor was fairly large with two beds, a fridge and microwave, table, two chairs, and a tv. The ac was noisy but not to the point of being a bother and it did keep the room nice and cool while the outside temp was over 100. We paid about $70 for the night which included a military discount and I was satisfied with the price and value. I read sitting under a couple of trees and enjoyed the fresh air and the lack of noise from the street. I'd stay there again.

We occasionally like to do an overnight swim event at Riverdale Resort near Preston, ID. The kid also like to stay overnight. Where do you stay? At the Plaza motel of course. It is an old place, but well kept. The room was clean, the beds were very good, and all the linens were very near new. The carpet was also clean. No breakfast, but well worth the $65.00 charge. We will stay there again.
