I've lost count of how many times we've been to Webb's over the years, but it is my home away from home. NOTE: I have travelled all over the world and stayed at world class hotels, and this is not a place like that. Best surprise of our 19 day road trip through Oregon and Washington was Webb's Surfside. Most amazing views from our room (rm.25, above office). Walked onto beach just outside our door and then ambled down the coast to Haystack Rock. Close to town, we walked in for takeout and took it back to our room with views. Room was large with everything we needed (refrigerator, microwave). We lucked into the amazing views, clean room, and pleasant unobtrusive service. If every in Cannon Beach we'll stay here!

The stairs going up to second floor was rickety. The window in the bathroom didn’t have a screen. No screen on slider in front room. The slider lock didn’t work. We tried multiple times to lock it. The Bathtub was dirty with hair. When wiping off with the towels, the fuzz stuck to your skin. The toilet seat had grey large marks on it. The bed linens had holes in pillow cases and orange stains on sheets and towels. The refrigerator smelled of rotten eggs. The mattress was very uncomfortable. So, I talked with front desk about these issues and she said, “ the girls will be here soon, so you can talk with them”. I tried talking with them. These girls don’t speak English ! ! I understand this is not a luxury hotel, but It is an old building. It needs a lot done to it, to make it safe and comfortable. When we were leaving, the owner told us he had raccoons it the attics and were trying to get rid of them. Glad he waited until we were leaving to tell us. Yikes !

Great stay. The unit was very roomy with a small kitchenette. We had a great ocean view from our balcony, and the location was right in the center of everything. The room was immaculately clean. The decor is dated, but we didn’t mind as we knew to expect it. I would suggest brining your own iPad or laptop if you want to watch movies.

Nothing beats being right on the beach but...the mattresses were super uncomfortable. And although I get what others have said about the "vintage" feel of the decor/furniture, there comes a time when maybe it's time to replace or upgrade some items, just saying. Also, don't really get the no dogs policy, the carpet/flooring is pretty bad already in case of an accident and hotels usually charge fees anyways? The owner also was a little weird about guests, too. They also seemed almost argumentative when asking about their cancellation policy, too? The cost wasn't much better than other places so we'll shop around for next time. Thanks
