SpringHill Suites by Marriott Bend

I've never encountered such exceptional customer service at a hotel. Andrew and Jeff exceeded expectations to ensure our birthday weekend was memorable. Their congeniality was both shocking and impressive. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting Bend. It was a fantastic experience.

We enjoyed our stay here. Good sized rooms, clean and the kids loved the free breakfast. The staff was very nice and the location is within walking distance from several breweries, food trucks and shopping. I felt it was a bit overpriced for a SpringHill Suites but realize it was the summer and multiple tournaments happening.

I have stayed here about a dozen times. Hannah is always ready to provide a great start to my stay! The rest of the staff here is always very helpful, I would definitely recommend this Springhill, it’s in a great location to downtown. There is also great food options close by within walking distance.

The hotel charge a 5-level star price but provides 3 star level service. >$470/night with $20 extra charge for parking but provides substandard service. The location: several reviews say is walkable, but it’s only walkable to the small Old Mills district. The more interesting downtown where good restaurants are is far and still need to drive. The Room: The pictures are misleading. The room is long and narrow, dark with a small window. The bathroom door is directly facing the bed. So if someone going to the bathroom at night and turn on the light, it would disturb everyone. Towels are worn and thin, no shower cap, a small cheap piece of soap. Breakfast: cheap food. Oatmeal is too thick and tastes bad. No real egg. Limited fruit options Will NOT recommend.

Room: spacious and very clean. New and updated and very modern, the hotel and the rooms. Mattress is very comfortable. Shower is good with ok water pressure. AC: single unit, but not loud. Front desk staff very friendly and welcoming Location: close to downtown (in the downtown, walking to the old mill district) Breakfast: the typical simple free breakfast of the usual hotels. As most free breakfasts, the scrambled eggs, sausage and potatoes (on weekends biscuit and gravy) are OK. But, the other items such as waffle maker, the yogurt and cereal are better options. No one leaves hungry. Bananas are offered early in the morning. Apples are usually last till the end of breakfast. Value: compared with other hotels of similar class and grade, it is pretty good.
