Let’s start with the good. Loved that they had appetizers and complimentary beer and wine in the evenings. They also had a really nice selection of teas available in the evenings at no cost. They have a couple of bikes as well that you can use to get around. The staff was really nice as well. The location is just off 26 and there are some stores and restaurants that would be walkable in the right weather. The only issue that I have with this place is the paper thin walls, floors and ceilings. You could hear TV’s, footsteps and people using the bathroom in just about every direction. If you stay here, bring earplugs or ask for a top floor. Otherwise you will be miserable like I currently am. It has been several nights and it has not gotten any better. Not really the fault of the people staying here, just the result of poor sound proofing.

We checked in on Nov 25th and out on Nov 29th. We arrived early, about noon, and asked if we could check in early. The front desk said the room had been cleaned but needed a quality check before we could check in. We asked how long until it would be ready. They said they didn't know but we could check back later. They didn't offer to call us or send us a text, so we left and ran some errands. No big deal, but it would have been a nice touch of customer service to offer to call us. A quick look over the desk and I could see he was anxious to get back to whatever on-line game he was playing. Travelers look for hotels to provide two major services: a comfortable place to sleep and a hot shower. At Element, the suites are very nice and the beds are comfortable, I'd say a job well done with that. However, two of our four mornings we had cold showers. Yes, it was probably prime time when everyone else was taking showers and now I know to shower earlier before all the hot water is used up. A cold shower is not a nice way to start the day. Element, you must do better!

This hotel would have 5 stars if only they had better management. The staff is cold and unwelcoming, especially the GM. The internet was down for two days, so I'm not sure I would recommend this for business travelers. The ground are beautiful and the rooms have everything you need for an extended stay. The breakfast is pretty bad. I gave up on it early on.

Tripadvisor asks who I went with (won't allow posting of the review without choosing an option) and the answer is Family, but no teens. It was myself and my mother (my caregiver). I am in my 50s and my mother is in her 70s. Do not stay at this hotel if you are disabled, especially if you are a wheelchair user. There are also reasons not to stay here even if you are not disabled. The one star is solely because I have actually had to stay in hotels worse than this one. As a Marriott Bonvoy member, I booked a two queen bed studio room online (for which I received a confirmation email with the word GUARANTEED in it). When I arrived, the room was not available. I was told it was occupied. I was put in a different room with one bed and a pullout sofa. I was not allowed to see the room I booked as I was told it was occupied and would be long term. However, when I checked out I was told (obviously by a different person), that the room I had booked was not available because of a mechanical problem. She assured me that the studio with two queen beds DOES exist. There was no way to use the room in my wheelchair with the pullout couch bed open (in the room we were put in), so my mother (my caregiver) and myself (physically disabled) had to sleep in the same bed. The bathtub bench is at one end of the tub and at the other end are all of the things needed to bath - all completely out of reach (and in the case of the shower head and the soap and shampoo - up high so that they can only be reached by someone who can stand and shower). The bar next to the toilet does not meet ADA requirements and was loose. Also, the bathroom door is on backwards and hinged on the wrong side, so it opens out in such a way that it blocks the path between the kitchen/bathroom and the main room and door to the room itself. If the door were on properly, it would open against a wall and not block anything, allowing for easy movement throughout the room. As for the room we were given it also had other issues: the window coverings (automated) do not block out the light so the room is not dark at all at night, making it difficult to sleep. It is also apparently directly above the hotel laundry room, which was running machines 24/7. The plates provided (in the kitchen the room has) are tiny so don't expect to be able to make or even heat up an actual meal on them. You can't even put a sandwich on one of them. We did not use the stove. The refrigerator is a good size, however the ice machine is LOUD and makes noise constantly. Lastly, when we arrived we saw there is a huge construction site next to the hotel. We were not notified of this construction prior to our arrival, nor was the construction mentioned in any way when we checked in or during our stay (because I guess pretending it doesn't exist is a reasonable and normal thing to do)? It should not be too much to expect the type of room booked (especially when you have a received a guaranteed confirmation), nor should it be too much to expect an ADA room to be safe and usable for a disabled person IN A NEW HOTEL, when the ADA (federal law) is over 30 years old, now. I really expect Marriott to provide much better accommodations and service, especially in their new properties! Apologies and excuses are meaningless. Disabled people need to travel and stay in hotels and deserve accommodations that enable them to do so. Disabled people deserve to be treated with the same respect and receive the same quality of service provided to able bodied people.

I'm disappointed to have to give an average rating for such a spacious and a beautiful new hotel. The room and the building was modern and we really loved the space. Unfortunately, few things we have experienced will stop us from returning to this hotel. One of the most uncomfortable moments were during breakfast as others have mentioned here. There is a lady serving food who really does not like to give you food. She will give you the dirty looks and doesn't care to respond to your good mornings or hellos and will be pissed you asked for two eggs. We were there with another family and they also mentioned this experience and it made us all very uncomfortable. Also our room didn't have any issues with noise facing towards the pool building but another family we were with had a room facing the basketball courtyard and she was able to hear every conversation and people playing basketball all night. The front desk was courteous and asked them to stop playing past 10pm but people hanging out all night out there was still noisy even from the fifth floor. Even though we loved the facility and the rooms, we will not be returning due to some rude and unprofessional staff.
