Red Lion Inn & Suites Grants Pass

Not a single piece of art or anything to look at in the room just for walls of horrible orange peel. I get that this is an economy offering but please! Hallway smelled incredibly musty. Bathroom was strange and cramped. Low water pressure and sketchy people milling about.

This modest-appearing hotel nestled in among many hotels is a true gem. It has to be the cleanest motel I have ever stayed in. The housekeeping staff is spectacular; leaving everything sparkling clean each day and well-stocked with all the amenities. The room was small but quiet and the furnishings were comfy. The breakfast choices were limited, and we did have an unfortunate incident with a guest's dog in the breakfast room one morning. But this was handled with grace by the kind staff. All-in-all, a wonderful place to stay!

Excellent hotel and walking distance to restaurants. Staff was friendly and service was good. Room was clean and hotel was quiet. Somehow the circuit for our room became overloaded and we lost all our power. The staff was there immediately and had the problem resolved within 10 minutes. The only reason I gave it 4 stars (I would give it 4.5 if that was a choice) was that the breakfast was pretty minimal. You will need to catch breakfast somewhere else if you need something more substantial.

This property is hidden gem for the quality of the stay, its ammenities and the location for the price. It is by far one of the most modern, best kept, clean and comfortable hotels I've stayed at in a long time. From the first moment I interacted with staff, I was made to feel welcome. Parking lot was well lit. My room was spacious, exceptionally clean, and designed so that others could rest while someone was getting ready in the morning. There were shower products, a coffee maker (with coffee and tea), and a refrigerator in the room. The bed was clean and comfortable. The shower offered great water pressure and hot, hot water! The A/C worked really well. Free bike rentals and a swimming pool on site. Free continental breakfast included. I would definately stay here again!

Lots of plugs and ports, room was nice and lots of places nearby you can walk to. Fridge and microwave. Strange stair configuration--you go up and down inside the halls. Little bottles of shampoo etc and the pool is fairly nice but gets deep quickly.
